Sara Beth was still concerned about what they had been told about this Ulwaluko. “Help me understand,” she said to Xolani. “Surgical techniques are almost universal. What happened? Did they not use sterile equipment? Didn’t they clean the area properly?” Xolani smiled at her concern about an injury more than two decades in the past, “I was one of nine having it done at the same time.” He sighed sadly, “My father was a traditionalist.” He motioned in Lunga’s direction, “Lunga and I descend f

Thank you!! (I'm bowing, but you can't see it.) No one wants a story about things they know! Be in Cinderella or vampires. I'm watching Cinderella when it came out with Richard Madden. I said, "Where's our Fairy Tales?" I love Stephen King and Anne Rice, but really? How many times have I watched the whole Twighlight movie series? Who the Hell is Bella Swan anyway? Now, her dad, Charlie!! I have fantasies on fantasies with him! Sorry, but I'm not into twinks. After a few decades, we'll see. I like men who are seasoned. My vampires are older. Even the vampires turned as teenagers have matured and let go of teenage angst! And I can't stop. My stories won't end. Ever!! I swear! R. Eric 💘

David wasn’t budging. His arms crossed over his chest in defiance. “What opportunity?” He growled. “We won’t stop the Tattle Tale.” He looked again at Vlad and then he walked forward. “You! You were in that video. You stopped those people at the Transylvania All Hallows Eve thing!” Vlad nodded, “I did.” “He prevented a lot of deaths,” Colin added. “And you were in that video you sent to watch you go through this process,” David said. “You were a vampire!” “And still am,” Vlad

Yes, he is five years old. As was Mozart when he wrote his first musical composition. The minuet and Trio in G major! Joel even remembered Ian was also raised surrounded by music. Just as I was. He knows musical architecture and theory even if he doesn't really read music. Yet. It's natural now. He will learn more. He has to. I became focused with what I do. I write. The idea of spending HOURS on the computer is not even considered. I had stories in me and HAVE to write them down. There is no chore! My physical body is the one that tells me to stop. I get aches in the back often. Yet, I press on!! There will be trouble in the future. Duh. Humans are involved. They did bring the lessons they learned with them. I envisioned a galaxy filled with Humans. Hundreds of worlds inhabited by descendants from Earth and living in space. It can't be avoided. The Nesmith Family is going to be thousands of generations for this one. So will the Cavills, the Rees Family and the others! I wasn't kidding. I am NOT done!

There is no "poor Ian." No one pressured Ian to learn piano. Yes, he is five years old, but there were many talented composers that became driven to create! I wasn't one and hated to practice. Ian is his own driving force. So is Lunga. The Ark came to Gaea to save the Earth's creatures, not just Humans. As long as they keep that focus, they will. Recreating the environment has to happen to do what they were sent to do. I even mentioned that Gaea will cause evolution to make changes. Not just for the animals and plant life, but for man. You better believe they will avoid the pitfalls of Earth! And we're just at the beginning of it all! I ain't done!! Not even close to being done! I just hope to live long enough. I plan to.

93 Gaean years. Just over a century in Earth years.

Leah felt a day or two when Hank and Joel didn’t use the Neural-Interface was best. She did acknowledge what Sara Beth had said that the effects did alter the brain chemistry. That was the reason Sara Beth had refused to let them hook her up with the Neural-Interface. In theory, there should not be a problem for an infant in gestation. Sara Beth was not taking the chance even as remote as the chance was. Leah showed what was happening using the computer’s images they could see. What Joel and Han

I do get caught in the technology. I don't want any reader to say "That could never happen." The mining is being done for the settlement of New Charleston. The Boron Nitrate is being gotten to mix with the metal and "glass." The tillers are being readied to churn the soil. Once they get that going, they will return to stasis and by the time they wake up, the settlement will have taken shape. The atmosphere will be ready for the residents to breathe. Under the dome at first, and the plant life will begin more in earnest. Everything I say in this is scientifically possible. Even if it's theoretical now. This story has a looonnnng way to go. Exciting, ain't it?

The noise and activity levels increased as people gathered to share this area and consume a meal. They were not just a crew, but people that genuinely liked being together. A comradery was here binding them closer. They had been assembled on one of the orbiting space stations to get to know each other. It was a station that rotated like the Ark’s habitat ring. All those people on that station had made it very crowded. The habitat ring had more room. It was a new thing for the Nesmiths to ha

Joel and Hank were returning to the Control Room with the Human-Robbie. Joel was looking forward to seeing what it was like to be in Human-Robbie’s body. Would Human-Robbie have responses Joel would recognize? Joel considered Robbie to be almost Human. Joel knew Robbie wasn’t Human. He loved Robbie. Joel also knew that emotions were accompanied by physical reactions in the body. Be it love or even fear causes physical reactions in the body. Your heart begins to race, your breathing changes...you

Ian was looking more comfortable with Robbie, but his mind was working. You could see it on his face. “How do you do it?” He asked Robbie. Robbie looked puzzled. Again, were his facial expressions real or simulated? To Joel, Robbie looked puzzled. Joel knew if he thought about it, he’d get another headache like he did with complicated math. “Do what?” Robbie asked Ian simply. Ian pointed at Robbie in his human body, “You’re here,” Ian then pointed at Robbie’s robot body, “but you

And where have you been!? You are a decade of two late! (My toe is tapping in impatience.) I can't even write in English correctly. Cyrillic!? Forget it! I'm very sarcastic and it's in fun. I seldomly get angry. Love ya!

Chapter 9 We Saw the Light
R. Eric commented on R. Eric's story chapter in Chapter 9 We Saw the Light
Well....I'm thrilled you love it! It's being published as a book by Amazon publishing. I'm very busy and I long to get back to my writing. I've mentioned before. These stories are my children. They will be here when I no longer am alive. Cinderfella 3? I got burned out on. A part of me felt I was heading in a direction I shouldn't. No one said a thing, but I just lost interest. I still write. I still have a destination I want to go in with Cinderfella. How to get there? That is the question. -
Colonel Sledge seemed to be still waiting for another explanation…one that made sense. His mind wasn’t excepting what he was being told but he couldn’t deny what he saw with his own eyes. Marcia Sledge seemed to gather herself better as what she had been told was absorbing in her mind. She looked at her daughter and seemed to understand a little of the horrible events that had taken her little girl from her. “You’re happy here.” It wasn’t exactly a question. She needed Amanda to say it.

No one really moved at first as the last notes faded. The choir couldn’t go down as they came into the choir loft. Not to break any spell they had woven, lights in the church came in a bit dimly. “That was incredible!” Sasha said in a hushed tone. He was still in awe. He sighed and wiped his face near his eye to get rid of the moisture from his face. He had been moved and that caused some tears. I had the same thing, but I wasn’t crying. It was inspirational. I noticed many here were f

The tasks before them weren’t a simple thing to do. Joel knew they wouldn’t be. He thought more confidently about what they were doing to ensure safety. That was one of the top considerations. The other top consideration was the goal they hoped to do. Creating a sister planet to Earth. They were taking what was there and making a home for the people of Earth. Again, there were chances of failure. The challenge was to succeed. The Harpy-Stingers was a necessity. Joel felt comfortable with al

Opinions are like faces. We've all got them. I grew up on Peter Pan Peanut Butter and Bama Appel Jelly. All opinions count, even the wrong ones!

Tahnee Shuman was on the plane, but not talking to anyone. Truly, I felt pity for her. To be so alone had to be torture. It wasn’t her fault. Not entirely. She didn’t think there was anything wrong. Not enough to seek professional help. Content to be where she was seemed to be her stance on things. I spent too much time thinking about her. If she didn’t see something was wrong. Fine. I doubt I’d see much of her in the future. That didn’t mean she would not be harmful to us in that future. That

Shang, Slaughter, and Sledgehammer
R. Eric commented on R. Eric's story chapter in Shang, Slaughter, and Sledgehammer
Makarovian next THEN Ark II! -
The feeling on the plane remained positive and upbeat. I felt we were all becoming friends. American, English, Russian…we were feeling more at ease with each other. The new plane was wonderful. The plane had very little turbulence and just floated on the air. We were traveling with the sun, meaning it was going to be a long day. I relieved Mark in four hours. Stan had gone up to the computer area to get familiar with Buddy’s extension on the plane. The flight was about ten to twelve hours long.

There was the usual care expressed to Tony. I was happy he decided to tell everyone. It was going to be hard to keep it from family. Tony reassured everyone that he was fine and would be fine. This was where he was a puzzle. He didn’t like the focus on himself about this illness. He wanted others to know he was on top of everything and in control. Cancer was making him appear weak so that control was out of his hands. The people here now were family and promises to support were given. During thi

The Nesmith family departed the robotic lab to resume their day on the Ark. Sara Beth, Joel, Kevin, Jimmy, Ian, and Robbie went to the Communal Dining Area where they dropped off their children and Robbie would resume school. “Where were you?” Flora demanded. The seven-year-old daughter of Angus MacQueen said with her brogue impatiently. Robot’s body turned to her, “I informed you they were fine. They just did something that they needed to do.” “For the Ark?” Flora asked. “It had

The plane’s taking off was…thrilling? I don’t know what word to use. Down here in the cargo section, it was nice…for a cargo area. I was there to keep Pusik calm. She would help keep her brood of puppies calm. Mark stroked Pusik and so did I, touching each puppy while sending the feeling to be peaceful and relaxed. I still couldn’t believe I could do that, but it worked! Maybe we DID have something magical. Vlad sure worked magic. Down below there were no windows, and the engines were loude

We ended our visit with the family and returned home. Technically, neither of us had schedules to keep. I was volunteering for some causes, including the homeless. The poor and homeless had a terrible time, but there were groups that formed around the Holidays to make it a little better. People normally ignored the poor and homeless, but there was a general incentive to turn that focus on those less fortunate. Like Manhattan, there were the homeless gay youth that needed help. Only, there was ju

They deserve more for simply falling into a hole? Of course, they do! I'll have you know that King Olek, Queen Helga, and Queen Alla (Liking that they now have two Queens!) will be sure those two FAMILIES will have their futures made! They fell into the vent three days ago! (Story time wise). Yuri didn't pay for his education as a security agent. Boris didn't pay for his training as a top butler or chef! Talents are rewarded! Why not everyone? If there was a way, Makarovia would do it! Mercea showed talent when serving his two years required service after high school. He didn't pay for his training. Bohdan and Ruslan will be rewarded as they deserve. Recognition and honor? Yes! Because they fell in a hole? No. Because they knew what was there was not for them! They could have kept the scepter and coins, the jewelry, the gold statues would have been heavy! But THEY were the only ones who knew it was there!!! They could have horded it. They didn't! They gave to be returned to the palace! They were loyal, honorable Makarovians! Whatever they want to do with their lives, you can BET Makarovia will make sure they can!
