It's challenging to want to be informed but also keep your sanity when it comes to the news. Sifting through media hype to get to the facts is more and more difficult each day. Makes my head spin. Going radio silent every now and then is definitely necessary for mental wellness. Like tim, it's probably best to pick and choose stories in small doses.

Sorry to hear this, A. Really tough when it's out of your control. Hopefully, the care facility will continue to vigorously monitor, test and follow all safety and health guidelines to keep your mom and other residents and staff safe. All the positive juju coming your way.

Had an insurance adjuster out today to evaluate my roof (both house and garage) and looks like I'm approved for replacement, including gutters. This is a long time need; the most recent "derecho" storm caused more damage. Maybe I should I go with purple shingles...
