    Vacation is always good. It's been a year since I've taken a week off. Now, with Labor Day it'll be 10 days. Originally, sean and I were going to take a trip. Instead, I'll be getting my house in order, doing various things around town, then up to the mountains for a few days next week.

    My day was fine, thank you for asking, molly. I'm wrapping up several jobs before I start my vacation. Which is only one more day away!

    Good evening, subs. Just to be clear, because there must have been some confusion earlier, the lashes in the mens room I mentioned to tim were for tim, not for his unruly customers. Although customers certainly could use a swift hand or two at times, that was not my intention with my comment. The lashes were meant to re-center tim and bring him back to a healthier focus, which it seemed to do. Apparently, all three subs in here would have benefited from a lashing on the backside today. Now, I hope everyone's day ended better than it started.

    rick, we're all glad you're still here. I am deeply sorry to hear about the pain you experienced. It's unfortunate that we can reach such a low point, when all other options seem impossible. But you've risen up and out of that, and now is your time to shine. Already, you're discovering the value in living an authentic life. Keep on that path. And keep telling your story, because you never know who might need to hear it right now.

    Each of these poems is fueled by anger, disappointment, rejection, self-doubt... emotions we can all relate to on some level. you've voiced yours in clear, concise verbiage, tim. As others here have already said, After Consideration packs its own special punch, right in the kisser. I felt the bludgeoning as I read it. I hope expressing your thoughts this way helped release some of the bullshit. you are loved, boy.
