OK, Robin's a lost cause. And he totally went crawling back. Billy should just leave it and let Robin learn the hard way. In fact, I think he should just try to ignore AJ altogether. Billy and Ollie will never be able to knock some sense into him because, as Robin said, they already have their Prince Charming. Best case scenario at this point is that Robin meets his Prince Charming through AJ, but that's not gonna happen. Maybe he could hook up with Garrett. I'm soooooo disappointed in Robin right now...

Always good to see things from Bailey's point of view. As an aside, personally I think this story would work better in first-person point of view, as demonstrated in the dream sequences. I have a feeling Alec and Mason did much worse than what Chris did, and the same thing happened at his previous schools, that being the reason he doesn't like being touched. Bailey has a troubled past for sure. I suspect hearing that conversation is the real reason why Bailey doesn't want Declan's help later. If I met someone who disrespected what I've put 10 years of hard work and dedication into and called it 'dancing around' I wouldn't want their help either. Now Bailey thinks Declan is no different from Chris and Mason and the Pitbulls. I want to come to Declan's defense a bit here. Gymnastics isn't a sport that gets a lot of exposure outside of a few major competitions, and the gymnasts there make it look easy. As an outsider, I can't really appreciate all the hard work that goes into each form and each routine and I think it's hard to fully grasp that if you're not involved with the sport, so I can get why Declan would call it 'flips and dancing around' (Heck, even I called it that at one point). Declan's completely wrong, of course, but he doesn't know any better because he hasn't seen how hard gymnastics really is. I think what he saw in Chapter 6 really opened his eyes to the truth about that.

I don't like the sound of that at all! Hopefully Dustin will have Billy to support him through the tough times. Dustin sounds like the type who could turn to suicide if pushed far enough. I never liked Joey. Those people from religious families always turn out to be hypocrites with loose morals and terrible people in general. I can't wait for Billy to knock him off his high horse.

Why not both? We know nothing about the guy. I just want Riley to see the guy who knifed him and give him a big "Fuck you, I'm better than you!"
-
Carter is a real sweetheart, he knows Riley so well. I love how he knows exactly when to push and where to stop, pushing Riley ever so slightly in the right direction. I think Riley's refusal to come out, even to himself, is largely survival instinct at this point. He knows what will happen to him if he's found out and he wants to protect himself and Carter. Aaron is most likely jealous that Carter was able to connect with Riley in a way that he couldn't no matter how much he tried, and if Riley didn't act so homophobic when they met he'd probably suspect what's really going on. I don't think they can keep it a secret for very long if they're already in bromance territory though. You know, I'm actually hoping biodad is the one who killed biomom. I want Riley to be able to look him in the eye and say "You took my eye, but you didn't beat me. You'll never beat me, and while you spend the rest of your life in here I'm gonna be somebody!"

That's exactly what I was thinking! I just hope Bailey's smart enough not to fall for it. Then again maybe he just doesn't care at this point. I love seeing things from Bailey's perspective, but at the same time it breaks my heart to watch him self-destruct like that. I hope Justin or Declan find out what's going on and actually FORCE him to get the help he needs. And that starts with moving into the dorms. That woman is no mother, and I'm starting to think she should be put in jail.

I just think the uncle was mentioned for a reason, and seeing Brett's mom in that picture, along with the previous comments about him being a 'very special boy', that's the first thing that came to mind. Regarding what Brett said about Dustin, didn't that already happen? Dustin pretty much broke down in Chapter 11, but I guess Brett doesn't know about that part. And to be honest, if Dustin does actually hurt someone, I'm pretty sure it's going to be Brett since he still hates him. Those two are a long way from any form of reconciliation.

Petitions and Court Dates
Shadow086 commented on Aceinthehole's story chapter in Petitions and Court Dates
My feeling is Aaron already knows, or at least strongly suspects they're in a relationship. He could have been giving that advice so Riley doesn't get hurt by losing Carter, as well as to protect Carter. Noah might freak out, but I'm actually more worried about Curtis and Cam finding out. If word gets back to the gangs, that could bring real danger at Riley's doorstep, not to mention Carter. I see a rough road ahead for our happy couple, but I don't see either of them letting anything stand in their way, not even Carter's father. -
If Brett is friends with Joey, he must have gone to his house at some point and seen the picture there. Brett's not as stupid as he thinks he is, he probably just never thought much of it. I hope one of those roads involves destroying Joey's golden boy image. That guy's been trouble from day one.
-
I knew Joey was going to be trouble, What a hypocrite! I agree with what everyone said about the three boys, but I wouldn't be surprised if Joey outed B&B. I don't think George would let his wife kick Billy out, so he shouldn't worry about that. Crazy theory time: Joey's uncle is in fact Brett's mysterious father. He got Jenny pregnant and later discovered he was gay, then committed suicide after his asshole family rejected him. That's why they never mention him. When did Brett see Dustin's new hair? At the park, maybe? Maybe he was there to sell Billy's pain pills? We'll have to wait until June to find out!

The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly
Shadow086 commented on Aceinthehole's story chapter in The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly
And Riley even called Carter his boyfriend at the end, so he's honest about who he is now as well. That was nice. I want to meet Carter's mom now, I wonder how she'll react to her son dating Riley since she knows all about Cy's reputation. -
The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly
Shadow086 commented on Aceinthehole's story chapter in The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly
Yeah, Nancy is getting to know how to handle him. Unlike Aaron, who's still too scared to really get to know him. I'm glad Cy didn't listen to Aaron and told Carter everything, and as I was beginning to suspect, Carter already knew. It's obvious now that Carter will be the one to save Cy, not Walter and Nancy. I wonder how Aaron will react to them being boyfriends. I wish Cy's past was truly behind him now and he can have a fresh start, but I know that's not how this is going to go. There's still trouble ahead for them. Carter's father is fighting the gangs the wrong way. The gangs are a symptom, not the cause. -
If he hasn't already. Or maybe Carter's just pretending not to know anything (I doubt it but it's possible. Carter's a bit of a mystery at this point).
-
That's true in general. I've been thinking about this. Maybe Carter already knows about Cy's past. If he has any connection to the Southside he's bound to have heard the rumours about Cy's 'exploits'. I'm sure he heard all about that super dangerous kid in the Saints but he hasn't connected the dots and found the link between that kid and his sort-of boyfriend. That's why Carter hearing the nicknames is so dangerous. He's probably been running around playing detective as well. I wonder if the coach knows the whole truth or just what's on Cy's record.
-
Carter's going to find out anyway, so it's better if Cy has a chance to ease him into it. There's a distinction to make, Carter wants Riley, not Cy. He doesn't want Cy the gangster, he wants Riley Walker the nice boy with a rough exterior. I think we all forget this.
-
Can't wait to see how the big date goes! I'm starting to think Aaron is giving Cy some bad advice about not telling Carter. Like he said, it's only a matter of time before Carter finds out everything, so I think it would be better if he found out from Cy himself instead of someone else. It's not like he can lie to Carter if he confronts him about the rumours he hears in the Southside. I hope Cy doesn't lose Carter over this, but he has to tell him. It sounds like he's planning to despite Aaron's warnings.
-
I'm glad Cy finally realised that the Saints isn't where he really wants to be. Things are starting to look up for Cy, but his past is catching up to him. If it's not the cops it's the others from the Southside. I'd worry about Carter if I were Cy. Carter isn't the type to give up and every time someone says anything about Cy he gets even more curious. I wouldn't be surprised if Carter goes to Curtis and Cam for answers, and they won't think twice about telling him all the know on the old Cy. I see a lot of trouble ahead for Cy if this continues.
-
Good to see Cy open up to Carter like that, and finally deciding to give this a real shot. It might not be too much longer before Carter gets his kiss. I hope I'm wrong, but I'm worried that asshole cop is about to come back and ruin everything.

Good chapter as always. Why did his sister have to call, we were just getting to the good part! I just love watching these two interact.

The Distance in Your Eyes
Shadow086 commented on jkwsquirrel's story chapter in The Distance in Your Eyes
Let's not forget that George is also coming back, so now Billy has two persons to keep him grounded. Sounds like Part 5 will be the Brett vs Dustin rematch everybody seems to want. Things are going to get ugly, and I think that's when Billy will be outed. I fear Paula's reaction, but at least George will be there to keep her from going crazy. I wonder what Dustin will do when he hears B&B are fighting. He could see it as his big chance to slide in and take Billy for himself. Imagine how Brett would take that. -
Okay, I know Aaron told Cy not to say anything about his past to Carter, but I think Carter knows more than he lets on, and he's smart enough to figure it out on his own. For all we know his father already told him everything. I think Cy is torn between following Aaron's advice and telling Carter everything. I think he knows that he can't hide his past forever and he'd rather Carter hear it from him than from someone else. Carter makes him feel safe and Cy obviously trusts him because he's giving him just enough to put things together, whether he realises or not. I wonder if the others suspect what's going on between Cy and Carter. That dream gives me a bad feeling about the days ahead. I think something happened in that gunfight that's going to get Cy arrested just when he turns his life around. He's really doing his best and it's that dumbass officer who's going to fuck him over the first chance he gets.

The Distance in Your Eyes
Shadow086 commented on jkwsquirrel's story chapter in The Distance in Your Eyes
Brett thinks Dustin's dangerous because he thinks Dustin will take Billy away from him, and he said before that he can't figure Dustin out. And we've seen that Dustin can get violent when he's pushed too far, so it could be that as well. About the pills: Brett could have taken them, but the fact Billy is now insisting that he did makes me think that he didn't because whenever Billy acts like this he ends up being wrong. And I don't think Brett ever outright lied to Billy about anything he did, so I'm inclined to believe him. Sure, he lies by omission, but he never went and told Billy "I do not smoke pot". -
The Distance in Your Eyes
Shadow086 commented on jkwsquirrel's story chapter in The Distance in Your Eyes
I guess Brett's pills didn't fuck him up too much because he's still a spoiled little shit. I get where he's coming from about wanting some respect, but that thing about "it's Dustin or me" was uncalled for. Billy's absolutely right, respect has to be earned, and right now Brett isn't earning much of that. Brett's going to have to get over it and accept that Billy can choose his own friends. I'm starting to wonder if Brett knows about the park and doesn't want to tell Billy. I wonder what Joey wants to talk about. My guess is it's either about Dustin or outing Billy. I was so sure Brett took the pain pills, but now that Billy confronted him about it and fucked things up, I bet he's got everything wrong again and his mom just put them away somewhere and didn't tell him where they were. It seems every time Billy starts making accusations like this, he's always proven wrong in the end. -
I get the feeling there was more than bullying going on at his previous school and that's why Bailey doesn't like people touching him. And I'm not sure how being his mother's emotional punching bag helps Bailey deal with his own grief. I can't wait to see how things play out from Bailey's perspective, especially his thoughts on Declan later on.
-
That officer is such an ass. Just about anybody could have found that gun so it doesn't matter if it was Cy's or not. He's probably been trying to catch him for a long time and made it personal, but trying to blame Cy for murders committed while he was in prison is just plain stupid and I hope he gets what's coming to him. That cop's trouble and I can see him showing up at school to try to arrest Cy and listing his 'accomplishments' right there in front of Carter. I feel really bad for Cy right now. He's a good kid who just had a rotten life and deserves a second chance, and now that asshole cop is just trying to take that away from him because of some personal grudge. Cy's finally turning his life around and giving this a chance and the cop's going to send him right back to being a hardened criminal. I think Carter's adopted and was taken in by Mr. Williams after his parents fell victim to gang violence. I think that's why Carter wouldn't be abler to forgive Cy if he knew about his past. Of course, Officer Cooper will make sure Carter does find out. The good thing is that the Saints are falling apart so Cy shouldn't have to worry about retribution from them. I don't think Aaron really believed Cy was a real gangster when he told him at first, but he does now and it does scare him a bit. I think it's more that Cy CAN do those things, not that he'll actually do it.
