  1. Andy stood on the sidewalk and watched as Marcus’ form grew smaller into the distance. The last time he watched Marcus walk away had been painful, but that was nothing compared to what Andy felt now. This was worse than pain. At least with pain, Andy knew he was alive. Andy didn’t feel pain anymore; he felt nothing. The past several weeks had gone by in a blur; Andy went through the motions of life but felt a little bit of himself die with each passing day without Marcus. And now, whatever

    Chapter 9

I thought I had missed some key plot point while reading this chapter! I'm glad everyone thinks D is delusional and there's no evidence of Noel being a traitor. I need them to get back together so badly!! Enough of this! They need to stop fighting each other and join forces to fight evil!
  3. You're right. Andy's been more worried about himself up to this point. He can't really do anything about a potential relationship with Marcus until he's figured out his own issues.
  4. Yeah, Marcus has got a temper on him, that's for sure!!
  5. There definitely needs to be an intervention of sorts. You may be onto something
  6. So true. We often have unrealistic expectations of people, especially people who are close to us. Both of them would have to make some pretty difficult decisions to find a middle ground.
  7. Oh, I like how said Andy needs to see more shades of gray. That's so perfect!! They also need to be better at listening to each other, hehe.
  8. It's quite a ride!! hehe
  9. That's what's hard for Marcus to understand: why Andy can't be gay and Catholic at the same time. To Marcus, those things aren't mutually exclusive, but he isn't considering that Andy isn't just Catholic, he's a priest! But Marcus is a little hot tempered, so he tends to react before he thinks.
  10. Thanks!!! And nope, you're not being too harsh at all. Andy does need to man up, and Marcus needs a little more patience. This love this isn't easy!
  11. Marcus has kind of been put through a wringer with Andy being hot and cold, hot and cold. I suspect Marcus was at his end and the rejection just pushed him over...
  12. I felt terrible for torturing them this long!! But there is more in store, more good stuff
  13. Yep! I think these boys have been tortured enough, hehe
  14. They will!! Promise!!
  15. So many yikes!!!
  16. Definitely not easy! But things will turn around for these two.
  17. Haha, yeah, definitely not what mom meant. I feel like Marcus gets a chance to be the asshole this time around.
  18. Marcus was early to brunch. He sat in the corner with his sunglasses on and drained his Bellini. The waiter couldn’t refill it fast enough. He felt like shit; he knew he looked like shit. Not sleeping for a couple of nights would do that. But Marcus didn’t care anymore; Andy had left him. “You’re here early.” Cheryl slipped into the other seat. “You’re never early. What’s wrong?” “Nothing,” Marcus said. “I just couldn’t sleep. Had nothing else to do.” Cheryl frowned at him. She d
  19. Yes, Andy really does need to talk to someone. And he will! Just not yet
  20. You are so right!! I think a lot of people have difficulty separating the institution of religion and personal faith. They're different things! That's something Andy has to learn. Thanks again for reading!!!
  21. It does! I promise!
  22. Thank you so much!!!
  23. It definitely hurt to write it. The whole story was an emotional roller coaster to write, for sure!
  24. Aw, thanks so much! It lifts my spirits to know that you enjoy it so much
  25. It's fun making people suffer!!! I'm evil that way. Mwahahahaha!
