How they'll react when they find out their sons have fallen for each other will definitely be worth reading in a later chapter. Hahaha! Once again, thanks for your input!

And thank you again for your input! It's always appreciated.

One week later… “—There’s a theory by scientists to why the Colossus manifest in our world in such colossal sizes, and that theory is based on the possible home world that these beings live in. Let me make a comparison.” Professor Jackman pressed her remote and lowered the projector screen that then displayed pictures of marine life on a slideshow. “When marine biologists capture deep sea creatures from their natural habitat, they discover that these same creatures sometimes incr

Thank you again for your in-depth response to my chapters! I guess it's a good thing to know that despite all the tech that grants Chris all of his powers, he is still a normal person, a normal person who has flaws both with his nodes and his nature. However, he also has feelings like everyone else and he definitely has feelings for Ryan and he is obviously battling between leaving Ryan to keep him safe or be happy once again by staying with Ryan, but risking his safety in the process. You're right about Nathaniel's possible disagreements with the relationship coming mostly from concern, while Christian is most likely the total opposite. And if they both do decide to leave each other, it's just going to damage both parties with Chris being miserable again because he has to maintain that playboy façade and this is Ryan's very first romance and no one get can get over that so quickly. Hopefully they manage to work something out, and who knows, maybe them being together will build something stronger than just their relationship.

Very hot and steamy chapter to be precise. And there's only two options for Chris when he wakes up, either stay in contact with Ryan or not. There's really no gray in-between and hopefully Chris makes the right decision that is best for both him and Ryan. In addition, if they do decide to build their relationship further, they have to keep it a secret from both fathers. This is the unfortunate truth since, like you said, Nathaniel is not going to like the knowledge that Ryan is with Chris either. Thank you for input and your previous ones as well!

Yes, very passionate! And hopefully Chris doesn't leave Ryan after what they just did together. It'll be difficult especially for Ryan since this is basically his first romance, his first kiss and his first time having sex among other things and Chris just leaving will not be good. However, if they still stay in contact, Ryan still should be mindful of all the warnings that Chris has told him like his nodes and his father just in case. Thank you for providing your thoughts on the chapter! It's always appreciated.

“Checkmate!” Winning for the third time in a row, Ryan clapped his hands and smiled to himself for beating Chris at his own game, a literal game that involved strategically placing his miniature at the right position on the board game to win the most points. “This isn’t damn chess,” Chris grunted. Ryan looked at Chris who was frowning, but by the slight crinkles on the outer corners of his eyes, Ryan knew that Chris was having fun. And Ryan was having fun as well, never realizing

Thank you! I'm happy you love the story so far and that you posted your thoughts as well. I understand why you believe Chris is scary due to his brute strength and stoic demeanor, but hopefully your thoughts will change on him as the story continues. Also, another reason why Ryan might not want to tell his father is because Nathaniel might make a connection between Ryan's sexuality and Chris, and that won't be good at all. Just something to think about. Thanks again!

Ryan's suffered no negative effects from the explosion that caused all survivors to contract some degree of radiation poisoning and it has been recorded that women who were pregnant and exposed to an excessive radiation birth children with physical defects. Could the explosion have benefited Ryan in some way? Just some food for thought. You're right about their attraction being mostly physical, but hopefully game night will change that. Thanks for you input and I'm looking forward to more of it as I publish future chapters.

Thank you for providing your input on this chapter! The fake knockout shows two things about Chris: his undeniable strength and that the fight wasn't to hurt Ryan, but maybe to protect him after all. Hopefully, game night between the two cadets will allow them to finally talk things through and resolve any confusion they have with one another.

Yes, it is strange that Ryan's father asked him that, but then again Nathaniel knows Josephine's father very well in a positive light and might believe his daughter could be good influence on Ryan, as opposed to Christopher. In addition, maybe Ryan thought that admitting that he's gay would only complicate things since Nathaniel will know the true reasoning behind Ryan and Christopher's fight, that he's most likely crushing on the first-ranked cadet which is the last thing that Nathaniel will want to hear. We'll see as the story continues. And thank you for your input!

A beep of a monitor slowly wakened Ryan from the depths of sleep, and as he resurfaced back into reality he heard someone approach him. He opened his eyes to see a nurse by his bed, a bed that was located at the recovery center of the academy, considering it had rails and a tacky design on the sheet that covered the lower portion of his body that was wearing a hospital shirt and pants. “Only one week at the academy and you’re already at the recovery center twice,” the nurse said. “Oh…

Thanks for your very in-depth analysis of this chapter! It's very appreciated. Some might say the locket was just a piece of jewelry, but that piece of jewelry belonged to someone who was the most important person to Ryan's life, and after her death the locket holds even more value that no monetary sum can equate to. So, you're definitely right about the importance of the locket. And there's also the questions surrounding Christopher's father involvement with Ryan's mother, which hopefully is not as bad it appears. At least Ryan's father doesn't seem as vindictive and is more caring towards Ryan as you stated. Lastly, the fact that Christopher can harness the abilities of different classes of Champions will make you wonder what else he's hiding. Maybe a weapon that's even more cutting edge than even Ryan's? And who knows whether the cadets are on par with one another in terms of power, but it is obvious that both of them far exceed the powers of an ordinary Champion. How far that goes will be seen as the story continues. Thanks again!

Thank you giving me your inferences on Ryan's parents. I understand that Nathaniel's intentions for Ryan seem manipulative, but hopefully that is not actually the case since he already lost one son and is learning from his mistakes to make sure that Ryan doesn't have the same fate. I can't say the same thing for Christopher's father though. However, there might be more to why Ryan's mother, Barbara, did not allow her son to meet Nathaniel. We'll just have to wait and see what happens next as the story continues.

Thank you giving me your thoughts on my most recent chapters! And yes, there's definitely more questions than answers right now from Rory's death to even the death of Ryan's mother, but hopefully the two cadets can resolve their issues soon, so some of your questions can finally be answered. Looking forward to publishing the next chapter soon.

“Only a decade has passed since the discovery of the gold in the Laguna province of the Philippines, and our scientists have created so many technological advancements that has made humanity more powerful than ever imagined before.” Nathaniel chuckled before taking a small sip of his wine, savoring the taste as always before saying, “Don’t forget, General Cassius, that the world isn’t all sunshine and rainbows since we discovered this technology to combat beings that threatened our current

You're right on both accounts, but we'll see what happens. And thanks for the review!

Yes, your first statement seems to be very correct when you consider the current situation with Christopher telling that Kevin guy to not touch Ryan, but then walks away from Ryan after a second kiss that Christopher initiated. Hopefully, things will start to resolve as the story continues. And thank you for review!
-
And thank you again for another review! Ryan is definitely confused about the entire situation, considering all the mixed signals he has been receiving from Christopher. Hopefully, Ryan will get some answers as catches up with Christopher in the club.

Leaving the shower room with a towel wrapped around his waist, Ryan walked to where his locker was, passing other half-naked men getting dressed or preparing to enter the showers. At his locker, he first took out his boxer briefs and put them with his towel still around his waist. It felt weird for him to be completely exposed even if it was just for a couple seconds since he still remembered his days in the locker room during high school when all the jocks would have full conversations, shirt

And thank you for reading it and adding a review! The gesture was indeed perplexing, but hopefully your questions will be answered as the story continues.

Christopher is definitely more than what the public concocts about him and I'm looking forward to you reading the next chapter of the story. Thank you for the review!

There's definitely more to Chris than what meets the eye is all I can say for now.

The corrections are always appreciated.
