Change is always difficult but changing is good you grow by changing physical and mental and also emotional. Grandma made a choice to move to an warmer climate. We old people hate the cold weather and love the warmer weather. It’s better for our muscles.😊👍. A great chapter again.A great way for children to enjoy those hollydays.Here in the Netherlands doing St. Nicolas on December 5. With gifts a lot of them. Here we call it “Sinterklaas The Good Holy Men”. He comes to The Netherlands around november 15 on his steamboat with a lot of helpers. Children adore him.

Yes Hansje Brinker was a Dutch boy putting his finger into the dike and yes it’s an fictive story. But it’s an verry old story heard the story in kindergarten. in Dutch “kleuterschool” this story is great. The boys had a lot of fun with the icehocky game.

You are right there where so much victims from the nazi’s there still are at this moment. And there are still guards alife who did that . There is in Germany at this moment a court case going of a woman in her 90s who was a female guard in one of those places.

Milo and Bren’s story is heartbreaking it’s horrific.Parents like their’s are criminals,but it still happens these days. There are still parents who think like that. How can they do things like that. The relationship between Olek and Helga is growing there will possibly a double wedding???😇😊. That would be nice 👍👍

A story like this I’v read a couple of years ago and like today I cried. The Germans where so sadistic you don’t believe it. Nowadays there are still people who denied what has happened. I can’t understand that. It’s so unthinkable that that kind of people existed. Thanks for this fantastic story.

The first translation of the diaries is send And hope it’s not scary to read. I’v read a story a couple of years ago and it was horrible to read what happened to this guy in that camp. It made me very emotional. But the truth is mostly not nice. But it fits in this story over the past of Marakovia past as a safe haven for gay people. I’ts nice Eric’s grandma is visiting so they don’t loose contact.

I know gays had sufferd in wwII but ! It’s barbaric. Nobody ever talks about them. It’s always the Jews and gipsy’s , and it’s thru but the gay community is a forgotten group. There is a gay monument in Amsterdam . It’s a pink triangle. There are 24/7 12 months flowers on it. I think it’s the only one in the world .
