Aaron has created a world where humans are the lowly, angels are the pretentious holier-than-thou, demons are the mischief makers and then there's Pelly. Caught in the middle, he's just trying to keep his head down and lay low. Until he hits the City of Sin. Head on into this tale with eyes and ears wide open. Aaron gives a wonderful glimpse into a world beyond our own. The humor alone is worth the read.

LOL. Snort. Giggle. Guffaw. Just a few of the reactions I had while reading this again. Understated, snarky humor sprinkled throughout.... my kind of read. I loved the way Pelly is clueless about so many things despite having lived several centuries. Oh, and this: Florida might be viable. The faith’s gone, from what I hear. While true, wouldn't those earthy-crunchies in Oregon be a better deterrent? Well done, my friend, well done.

Thank you! I cringe at my earlier stuff. It went way overboard on details sometimes, but over the past few years I've gotten great advice from several authors and I've worked on improving my writing skills. One of these days I may go back and fix everything in the first few stories. Comments like yours mean a lot. ❤️

I am proud of how this story turned out. I cranked out the first 10 chapters and then got stuck for months. But it turned out alright. (I hope)
