Thanks! As stressful as the week was, it was a good outcome overall. Now it's time to relax!

Well, I survived the most hellacious week of the year. It's when the owner of the community and the National Manager come down for their annual courtesy meeting with a few members of the HOA board to discuss next year's rent increase. Thankfully everything went well. We still don't know how much the increase will be because the owner is trying to negotiate a deal that will give the residents a better value for the increase. It's super stressful because he also inspects the park and last year I was in Alaska and it was when I was having a lot of issues with the previous manager next door. The park was not up to the usual standards and the owner wasn't happy. I came close to losing my job. However, this year he was very happy. I was very stressed. I told my husband it was like Shark Week on the Discovery Channel. Only instead of us being the sharks, we're the poor bastards who got left behind treading water watching the boat get further and further away. Lol. On top of that, our lake pump broke, the pool pump broke, the A/C in the clubhouse broke, I lost my internet service, and our time clock system is all messed up because of it. Add in all the residents and their issues... I'm ready to be fitted for my straight jacket. Oh, I forgot to throw in my son throwing a hissy fit and punching my husband while he was driving. It's over. I have two days to kick back and chill. Then 5 work days before I'm on vacation. I. Can't. Wait. I hope everyone enjoys the weekend!

Poor Dayna. She's not able to defend herself. I really do love seeing all the different opinions and speculations about Dayna. Even though I have insider trading information, it's not written in stone and it will be interesting to see what direction Gnomie takes us in regards to her. I can't imagine having four kids by the time I was 22ish. Plus being the sole source of the family finances. I'm sure she loved Kyan and would want what's best for him and the kids.

I didn't say he wasn't cute. He was average. Kyan isn't average. Also, I would never bully her. I merely poke the bear until she charges, then I run like hell. 🤣🤣🤣

I guess I lucked out. No family history so my doc is OK with Cologuard for now. Much easier. Hubs has had a few. He's been battling digestive issues with no diagnosis for at least 3 years. At least all his tests are negative. I'm beginning to think it's in his head.

Never apologize for having an opinion. The only time you'll get called out on it by anyone in the Krew would be if you were disrespectful. That's not the case. Everyone is entitled to voice their opinion. 😁

I'm going to disagree. As it's been pointed out before. If Kyan were a stay at home mom, no one would think twice about 'her' staying home with the kids. Even with the support of Perry and his in-laws, parenting 4 young kids is a full-time job. He has branched out and has his coffee dates with Max. So he's not totally isolated. There are many parents who wish they could stay at home while the kids are young. Who's to say once Gracie starts terrorizing preschool he won't look into getting a part-time job? He has options. Staying at home with his kids is one of them and that's what he's chosen. Granted he knows he doesn't have any skills, but that doesn't mean he wouldn't be open to acquiring them once the kids are a little older. Again, if Kyan were female, going back to school or learning a trade once the kids were in school wouldn't be an issue. So even though I'm pissed at him for being a pain in the ass about this, I get where he's coming from. When you back an animal into a corner, they're gonna lash out. Just watch the teeth and claws. Perry will be patient. Kyan will calm down. Probably. Maybe.
