Yeah right.

I'd probably kill mine after a week. Unfortunately, with my younger son's mental health issues vacations were always a challenge. Five days was the absolute max unless we were visiting family and could foist him off on them for a few days. I wish it could've been different, but there’s no such thing as a do-over. At least we had a few short trips that the kids had fun, even if the younger one doesn't remember it that way.

Poor Henry. It's time to go home. Vacations are great. They're one of my favorite things, but it's always nice to get home to your own bed.

So far the boat isn't rocking too much. He's supposed to be moving in with a friend in a few weeks. We'll see how that goes. Hopefully it will work out. So overall it's been ok. Thanks for asking.

Western Mass. I miss it most this time of year. Three of my brothers are there (the one I actually like too) and my husband’s mom. She's almost 89 so he wants to see her as much ad he can.

After this summer, I would welcome snow again. The heat was absolutely brutal. Happy to say that in three weeks at this time I will be in an airplane on final approach to Bradley Airport on our way for a visit home. I spent 45 minutes texting back and forth with my best friend last night. My husband kept giving me the stink eye every time I bust out laughing. Him and my friend's hubby dread when we're physically in the same room. It's obnoxious overload. We can't help it. It's a disorder that there's no medication or cure for. I can't wait. Lol I also can't wait for the cooler weather.

Right there with you. There aren't many areas that can't be affected by some sort of natural disaster. Some areas are more prone than others and all we can do is support each other when nature unleashes its power.

I've ceased the jaw drop when I see a headline starting with "Florida man...." The things I've seen in real life down here is the reason I don't go out much anymore. The clips on social media? I know everyone has heard of "Florida Man". Well, it's inclusive. I saw this headline this morning: Florida woman in hospital gown arrested after allegedly stealing ambulance. She was taken into custody and booked on charges of giving false information to police, driving with a suspended license, and resisting arrest without violence. Ummmm..... aren't they forgetting something? Like stealing the ambulance! It did say more charges are pending, but how is that not the first charge? 🤣🤣🤣 @Mikiesboy enjoy your first full day of freedom from the work doldrums. I'm going to repeat my course of action from yesterday and not maim or kill anyone. I'll admit it was a tad difficult. At least the main culprit is behaving today. He knew I was pissed yesterday. My son is tantalizingly close to being able to move out. He has a place lined up with a friend and is just trying to see if he can transfer from one store to another. His latest comment? "After I move out, I'll still want to come back a couple times a month to visit.... the dogs." 😒🤔🙄🤦‍♀️🤷‍♀️ 🤐🤐🤐🤐 I know my place on the totem pole of his life.
