I'm sure the cops will be showing up very soon. How they handle it? 🤐 Overall it was a hard chapter to write. Sorrow is something that's hard to portray the right way. Big family dynamics is something I've navigated my whole life. I'm taking care of my mom this weekend and am stunned once again at the stupidity of my brother. *sigh* Elijah and Tyler will always be connected. More to come on that later. I'm glad you liked the chapter.

Memorial services/funerals pretty much suck all around. It was really hard on Elijah and I hated writing it, but it was necessary.

Elijah is lucky that he has the people in his life that he does. Click Clack Moo was a favorite of both my kids. I found our copy along with Giggle Giggle Quack while packing. Had to read both of course. Those books always quacked me up! Tyler is going to find out about Kage real soon. He's observant.. let's leave it at that.

Kage is probably, most likely, with only a little uncertainty, may or may not be the savior. Williamson... picked it at random because I couldn't decide between the two ethnicities. In all likelihood some ancestors had to escape from across the pond and ended up on the Mayflower.😆

My warnings always have a reason! Tyler is my best friend. I've used her traits before and loyalty tops the list. Kage does have a knack for showing up at the right time doesn't he? There's a future cliffhanger that I'm pretty sure will agitate everybody. @chris191070 will be back to his shenanigans from his corner in no time. I only let him out temporarily.
