  1. Loic, a visiting French man, entices sixteen year-old Asa out of his shy shell to accept himself as normal.
  2. Ah, Canuk, as if you could ever get on the wrong side of me. I am sweetness and light and all those lovely things we dream of. And I am too appreciative of your comments to ever wish you less than a life of delicious harmony.
  3. Thank you, Skyacer, I will do that. I am ignorant about so many things.
  4. Oh yes - I'm sure they were - but not long enough. Thanks for reading and commenting.
  5. Thanks for your comments and for reading the story and appreciating they were set free. Who's Joni Mitchell?
  6. Aren't we all? I look forward to your comments in my next offering, Skyacer.
  7. Peteru and Uretep stepped off the mat and blinked in astonishment at a glittering mountain of precious stones. Ishbel sparkled, twinkled and shimmered from the top of her wig to the tip of her perilously high-heeled sandals. In between, the billowing tent of shiny material that encased her massive bulk was studded with a myriad of diamonds, rubies and sapphires. Gold bracelets encircled chubby wrists, metres of gold chain encircled her neck, and gold thread and emeralds dragged down her earlobes
  8. Questions, questions - Remember - the simple answer is usually the best - less to go wrong. They would escape and be eaten by dogs or killed by the new men.
  9. It's raining men because of the impending storm, and yes to the question. It isn't that early for an ending - my chapters are fairly long, you've read 5880 words so far.
  10. Two very genuine and fine men, and a cute boy. I like the sentiment, but am always a bit surprised at how careful people like Patrick are about showing their feelings. Peter's been absolutely clear in word and deed that he loves Peter, and Patrick feels the same towards him - so why is he suddenly difficult? What stopped him from simply saying, 'I love you too and want to be with you?' Playing 'hard to get' is a natural female reaction as they have so much to lose, I didn't realise men were also like that. He still hasn't made his delight clear in words. You write well.
  11. After a long discussion outside on the balcony of New Oasis, in case Fabien had installed spyware inside, they finalised their plan; agreeing that despite being neither fair nor just, it was the only solution to the problem and therefore the right thing to do. Back in their apartment with consciences subdued but not suppressed, the vidcom was flashing. ‘You’re needed!’ Fabien snapped. ‘Now! In the conference room!’ ‘What’s got him in a tizz,’ Uretep wondered nervously. ‘You don’t thi
  12. You are right about the effects of industry, but i'd go back even further, I blame the use of metal. Until then nature had a chance against humans - as seen in the New Zealand Maoris who had no metal because there Wasn't't any except for gold, and that's no use. And Indigenous Australians lived without metal tools using only the energy from the sun - also the forest people of Borneo - but once a metal tool - e.g. knife - appears, nature hasn't a chance. I'm pleased you're enjoying it. Thanks.
  13. Now I love you forever.
  14. Do I detect a slight hint of mockery? If so, it's probably deserved. I do tend to use a mallet to press in a thumbtack.
  15. The place was deserted when Peteru and Uretep arrived beside the flat boulder on which they’d sat the previous night. ‘Smell the air,’ Uretep whispered. ‘I feel so alive!’ ‘I feel randy.’ Peteru grinned lecherously. ‘I thought I’d got used to arriving somewhere with a hard on, but this is different.’ He pulled a very willing Uretep onto the smooth mossy ground between the boulders. ‘The Men might come back.’ ‘Do you think they’ll mind?’ ‘Don’t care if they do’ Their lovem
  16. They tried putting an enseemat into the negrav chute - it shot through the roof and disappeared - so that won't work. But don't worry - everyone gets their just desserts - and it isn't ice-cream for all.
  17. In French Agness sounds rather beautiful. I acted in a play once with a heroine called Agness. As for saving the Emperor... What's worse, to go out while in love or to live long and get old and ugly and infirm and demented? I'll save him and his lover from that - will that do?
  18. As a simple man myself, I write stuff that appeals to simpletons - so you are my target audience, Canuk. Ah, the sweet taste of success. As for 1950s porn - I thought it was restricted to Italian Sword and Sandal Movies that I used to drool over. Are you suggesting that people did nasty other things in that era of purity? Gosh!!!
  19. You are a fast reader - I'm flattered... As before - I'll do my best but there's a time and tide or some such crap that interferes with the best laid plans of mice and men - or something like that. Don't fall asleep at work!
  20. I'll do my best - but no promises...
  21. And thank you for thinking about the story and commenting.
  22. A raucous squabbling, grunting and thumping galvanised the young men awake. Imagining they’d left the door to the terrace open and wild animals had somehow found their way into the apartment, Peteru crept out of the tiny cupboard in which they’d slept, stealthily tip-toed down the passageway and peered into Ishbel’s new reception room. He was almost right, but the beasts were human. Daylight streaming in through wide open doors illuminated a scene that a week earlier would have merely sickened h
  23. Your communication skills are excellent - it's just that I've been waiting for a chance to use that line for ages. Why not literally stamp and throw a tantrum? It does you good to let it all out. But you're right, it is unfair - always remembering that concepts such as fairness, justice, decency... are just that - ideas invented by humans in an attempt to make living in groups possible. There is no correlation in the natural world - hens don't stand back and let the rest of the flock have a peck first - they barge in and peck competitors out of the away, and given the chance will eat it all leaving the others to starve. Humans are just animals like that - no better, no worse. I hope my ancient wisdom has made you feel better?
  24. Surely the whole philosophy behind the way the New Men live is to completely ban all technology. They use sticks and logs to hunt, they use leaves as plates... I'm pretty sure they would kill anyone who even started to use non natural 'technology'. As for there being no sympathetic ears among the Mages - there aren't any genuinely 'sympathetic ears' among humans today. Even those who say they espouse a natural life. Apart from anything else, there isn't any nature left that's capable of totally supporting humans any more - it's all gone.
