Maple syrup? Real maple syrup..yum...not the fake junk...

Yesterday we had salmon salad...salmon steak chopped with peppers, celery, green onions, yellow onions, mayo, carrots and salt and pepper. On a bed of lettuce...In the summer, I don't cook... I guess I get it from my mom who never cooked much when it is not, Dennis is the same..his family had salad (tuna, egg, chicken) for dinner or grilled meats. Why heat up a house while you are trying to keep it cool...

No damage to the house... mostly a lightning storm, but it lasted for an hour but a dead branch came down on the power lines...the only above ground power line in the area. Everything else is underground...Typical Florida summer weather...

Hello all.. it was a nice day, until the typical late afternoon thunderstorms popped up. We had a power outage when a branch came down onto a power line up the street...🙁. Hope everyone's great...We are. Dennis is out picking up branches in the yard...

Just had grilled hot dogs and potato salad here....to hot to do much cooking...and besides I was running errands for Dennis...going to the dump for one thing...Ash was babysitting today....Dennis asked me to run to the dump because all 5 of our trailers were full of junk... and he needed it to be empty...he was at the dump to...and his partners were, too...they were remodeling 3 homes and gutting one house (a $800,000 house) together it ready to be torn down...

I wrote it when Dennis, his parents, me and his siblings took a trip to the OBX. I forget when I wrote it, I think in 2003... And I forgot what the title was...I know it was bad... I can't even find it on Nifty.. I know at the time I didn't use my name, but used a psuedonym...
