I see your thought process. And Maybe. It definitely appears to be a weakness of his and if Kyan doesn’t handle things well, Perry will he devastated. It would be hard for him to face it.
As much as I love this (and oh how I do), I could not possibly do this to Perry. I don't know that I have it in me. Perry expressed his insecurity about Kyan going. Having Kyan meet another girl there, in front of Perry, is... @kbois level cruelty. I love it, but I can't do that to poor Perry.
That was 100% a rough moment for Kyan, but I agree that it was good for him. Loss of his wife aside, he's been catered to quite a bit. Perry alone has devoted a significant amount of time to Kyan. And it's okay for Kyan to feel uncomfortable or hurt if it means he has a better understanding of Perry.
