OMG!!This chapter had me😢😢for those poor kids. I don't know how people can have kids, walk out and dissappear, abuse them emotionly, physically, or God forbid sexually. My heart breaks for kids like that. I was so 😅😅😅 When Kyle & Blu took them. Thank God for them. Nice job with chapter. James

I too started with Change of Heart first simply because it had fifty chapters to when I started. I just could not stop reading till I read it all.

Okay I'm a little confused as to Miss Julie & Harry are in Chicago. They we're both in Change of Heart as well as the Diner. I thought Change of Heart was after this story line. Correct me if I'm wrong. I do wish you would have made this story as well as Gordy Comes Home a lot longer. (Like you Change of Heart). Either way I still Loved all three stories. I Love Em when there long stories. Keep up with the stories. You are now my second favorite writer. (Stephen King being my favorite) Looking forward to your next story.

Okay so I am finally happy for David & T.R., I do find it hard to believe that David doesn't know that Docs son Gordy is the Marine that died in the middle east. Which brings me to the question of John & Wylie? What happened to them, are they still in town?

Really not liking Jed. I'm holding out for David. I'm sorry Bill is in the closet and that doesn't work me. I spent to many years in the closet to go back just someone especially with a big Anaconda.

Well I guess I should have read this chapter before commenting in last chapter. So I'm only going to assume somewhere along the way we'll learn how Mary passed (Gordys' mama and Docs' wife.) I really Love your stories. They make feel like I'm actually there. Great Work.

So far liking this story, loved Gordy, Loved Change of Heart as well. So I'm guessing this story is between Gordy comes home & Change of Heart guessing by characters.

I grew up in the 70's & 80's. As anyone knows those were not good years for anyone. I knew I was gay at an early age, but the way I was raised and religous upbringing of the family I remained In the closet. In 1989 I married a woman. We we had a son in 1990. We were very happy until until 1996 when it ended between us. We stopped Loving each other. I finally admitted to myself it was time to come out. I had told her. In 2000 I came out to friends. I lost alot of friends and family, but gained a whole lot more and am happier. So I do know why they married women. It just brought back memories of a lie and sad time in my life because I couldn't be truthful. This is still a really a great story and you did a magnificent job writing it. Thank-You.

I Loved this story as much as Change of Heart. You are as far as I'm concerned a great writer. I could see this story as a movie. Now I was sad to see Gordy died, but at the same time glad to see Wylie and John as I had been hoping for since the beginning, together. This chapter much like the death of Johns' father had me in tears and so emotional. Again Thank-You and keep up with the great stories.

Okay normally I never complain reading these stories so I'm gonna day this is more of an observation. The last chapter ended with Mary Anne talking to John after leaving Wiley. Then you started this Chapter about Gordy and with him. What happen between Mary Anne & Wiley? How did she find out about John & Wiley? Where is she & BJ? How did Wiley end up working with John in Texas. I think you kind of missed a whole chapter here. Now as far as this Chapter being to long as I had read in earlier in the comments. I like long chapters when reading these stories. It may just be because I get so involved in them and don't want them to end and that I wish it was my life and I am a character. Anyway I enjoyed this chapter. Thank-You, James

Such sadness in this chapter. I was in tears when Johns father passed, celebrated linda & john divorced. Cried when Joe Don & Sally retired. I was on such an emotional rolled coaster. Now Mary Anne is leaving Wiley. Yeah I'm happy about that too.
