Well, my first to post streak's come to an end. LOL I'll say it again, Emmanuel's got Doug's place under surveillance. Btw, I think I got whiplash from the speed everything happened. @chris191070,you're good for my medical bills, right? Hmm, wonder if the return is gonna match the enthusiasm these guys have about their newborn relationship. Maybe I can use this stiff feather to get some info from Daddy-Chris. Loved the new chapter. You rock.

I'm a 46 year old VA boy, and Dolly fanatic. I also know, tarnation, when to add 'a' to a phrase like "hunker down the chicken coop Pa, storm's-a-brewin', growin' like a weed, and the difference between being naked and nekked. LMAO!

Me too, I think it'd make Mac feel better if she maybe called and talked to him and Devin after she's calmed down. After all, Mac is her second boy.

Oh, I totally get that. However, I don't get her not being considerate or thinking about her two sons' need to sleep that early in the morning. It was petty, and selfish.

Wow! Ma's reaction went way beyond protective Mama Bear. I was getting the feeling that she unintentionally, and unknowingly blamed Mac for Devin getting hurt. Either that or she had no confidence in Mac's ability to take care of his fiancé, if that's the case, why act like she's happy they're engaged? Also, throwing a freakin' tantrum and waking the guys up before leaving? After Devin and Mac were so loving and accommodating to her? Get a grip, Ma.

Especially for Aiden,Mattie,Mikey, and Anthony because growing up, even though Mikey and Anthony came the closest, none of Tony's grandkids were able to figure out how to tickle him. -

@chris191070 It's also fun for the ones doing the waking. Originally, I'd envisioned Dakota using his phone to record Pappy waking everyone, like he did when the adults, sans Kota, were young. However, the idea of the family all getting involved was so much more fun. -

@Paladin It's all three. One thing I'm having fun with is coming up with fun things for the family to enjoy. It's also allowing me to stretch out the story and work in different qualities, memories, and shared moments with the characters. I loved that Aiden came up with continuing the superhero scenario for the boys, both big and little. He really is a big playful boy at heart. -

Wow! Not the ending I thought it would be. It was way more meaningful, loving, filled with forgiveness and hope for the future. Which was surprisingly more fulfilling than the happy ever after I thought would happen. @KKirk Thank you for sharing this amazing personal experience, and for writing it with such exquisite and beautiful descriptions.

I'm in love with Emanuel constantly calling at the right moment to say it'll be another day.
