Picking wedding presents can be tough, especially when the couple are so different. As it turns out, what Will and Andrew picked out isn't too different from something we got for our wedding: large fluffy towels with our names embroidered on the corner. We enjoyed them for a very long time until they were too worn out to be useful.

I'm assuming Will is still in the soul-destroying job he was in at the end of the last book. I thought he and Andrew had realised what was going on, but apparently not.

I had the same question. In the last story, I had the impression that Lisa and Jeff had only just gotten engaged after being together for a long time. They were getting married two weeks later. I think the best interpretation is that they've been together for five years and this is just after the last book, and the age for Peter is wrong...but that's just a guess because in the last book Andrew hadn't moved in with Will yet. Another option is this is five years after the last book when Lisa and Jeff got engaged, and it's a different Peter, but in that case Andrew should've finished school... I'm going to ignore the continuity issues and just enjoy the story

Leaving home can be challenging. Leaving and going to another country even more so. At least this is what he wants. It's good to find out what's happening with Joey. I hope he's learnt something from this.

Life isn't always straightforward or fair. Will has sacrificed a lot for Andrew, and the two of them are coming to the realisation that maybe he's sacrificed too much. As for the Major, he can't give Will what he wants, but maybe he can give West what he wants. I don't think the Major's problem with Will is that he's gay; it's because he didn't want to be a soldier. If he helps West, I think that will prove that theory.

Bad things can follow good actions. Pressing charges was the right thing to do, but West is feeling the painful consequences of doing so

I have to wonder what's happening with Peter's twin, Robbie. The way Peter is being treated by Will is like his parents aren't doing anything. Are they ignoring him and concentrating on his twin, or is Robbie being ignored, too?

Destroying a kids dreams like that... I know it happened back then, and can still happen today, but it's still cruel. I think his best chance is a sporting scholarship. He's proven he has the talent and mental strength. There must be a university that will take him at short notice.

I'm sorry that my prediction was spot on. Tony should be okay if he can prove he wasn't involved with the drugs, but Joey's in big trouble, despite being a minor.

Joey could be making a lot of trouble for himself and his family. He's attacked whoever it was in public while carrying drugs. If the police intervene...

I love how Will just confidently marched through the hospital after visiting hours. It's almost as good as Mel's "I'm his wife" routine
