Actually Gold and Iron don’t have Latin origin, so you can’t add that suffix 😉
For copper , the Latin name is cuprium (or cyprium, because it was mainly found in Cyprus) and « copper » comes from it 😜
I’m giving my geeky 2 cents 😉 : how do you spell calcium, uranium, potassium,.. ?
Beside, « ium » is a Latin suffix that means « metal », so it is logical to spell « aluminium » 😜
@chris191070 : 1 point - @kbois : 0 point 😆
For those who didn’t know : « René » means « born again » 😉
Hmm that woman who was putting something in the microwave is @kbois ? LOL
Now our lovely author need to write another story about that newborn 😆
You can find wine in pop-top cans now, at least in France 😆
Apparently, people who tried said there aren’t any metallic taste. I think people find that strange because they are used to drink wine in glasses. 😁
Hmm I wonder if Dev and Mac are able to transition in a dinosaur 🤪
Imagine visitors seeing one of them : they would think there is a new Jurassic Park movie 😂
Great chapter 👍 and Merry Xmas to everyone 🙂
This chapter looks like a description of some real life situation 😁
I think about the poor children who have to write hyphenated names 😆 : their poor hands ! What about Bartolomeo-Christopher McCaskill-McPherson ! 🤣
Great chapter 👍
LOL « using the last hole of your belt » : funny way to say someone is fat 😂
Trip in the wild could be dangerous 😁 , hopefully the boys knew what to do. I would never do that kind of hike if I don’t have someone experienced with me 😝
Great chapter 👍
Yes, Dev is as stubborn as a spoiled child ! 😆
Hopefully, Mac is there 😅 especially with Luella ! 😂
Honestly, when they have children, Mac will have his hands full 🤣
Great chapter 👍
Yes, Dev is impatient and selfish and careless ! 😆
And about his money, though he managed his money rightly, wasn’t his parents (and grandparents and grand-grandparents) who gave the 1st dollar ?
So in some ways, they paid for Dev ! 😄
Great chapter 👍
Oh, I forgot.
Mac seems to be a very ecological guy : he didn’t want the styrofoam boxes and went to buy plastic boxes.
IMO, he should buy glass containers : a non-governmental organization made lots of analysis and found that plastic containers (boxes, bottles) disseminate nanoplastic particles inside the contents, which is not healthy (besides not being good for environment as well : cf plastics in oceans).
I stopped since buying plastic boxes and bought instead glass containers to stock my leftover food 😬
