Good point 😄 the assassin wanted the password from Kenneman who was in the studio : to erase anything in the computer related to the hybrids kidnapping. Once he got it, he killed him. And once the evidences erased, there was no need to lock the computer. (if that’s the case, and if the hard disk wasn’t erased in deep, Lex would probably be able to restore the erased stuffs.)

Ask the Queen Cliffies 😝 it is her story 😂 May be Kenneman was killed in the studio. The assassin wanted something (the famous « laptop » ? A copy recorded in the studio ? 😬) and only Kenneman knows where it was (in the studio)

I agree with @84Mags : it is probably Kennaman’s body in that room. The bad guys (Kasar ? Taylor following orders ?) want to clean any witnesses or any clues that could lead to them. Kenneman was working on his computer when the murder caught him. That might explain the fact it wasn’t locked when E shook the mouse, hours ago 🤔 : Kenneman was already dead !
