Chapter 56 - "The Difficult One"
Guest034229 commented on Comicality's story chapter in Chapter 56 - "The Difficult One"
Poor Tyler! I suspect that Ariel has turned into a beast in the bedroom. I'm not sure what you can do about that π€£π€£π€£ -
Chapter 56 - "The Difficult One"
Guest034229 commented on Comicality's story chapter in Chapter 56 - "The Difficult One"
I think its really charming that Randy's mum clearly knows about her son and Ryan being in a long term relationship and doesn't mind one iota. She knows that Ryan is the confident type, that would not be phased by it being openly known but she continues the pretence of not knowing, for the sake of her son Randy, who she knows is far more comfortable with that. As the unspoken charade is allowed to gently meander on its way, between the three of them, we are being rewarded with some charming lines. As with Randy's mum talking to Ryan about "our" favorite boy, and Ryan returning with "Mrs. Stephens! I'll make sure he's well taken care of" and Randy's mom laughing at his enthusiasm. I imagine that when Randy finally plucks up the courage to make it official with his mum, he'll get a big hug and a kiss and an: "At long last, myself and Ryan were wondering when you would get around to it" ππ There can be no doubt that she already approves of her son's choice in boyfriends, for both his personality and looks (that Cougar stare). π This chapter is an even greater example of TLC. Way to go Ryan! π -
Chapter 54 - "On My Side"
Guest034229 commented on Comicality's story chapter in Chapter 54 - "On My Side"
I think its even worse than that. Randy is being totally ineffectual to the point of incompetence. He should have immediately pulled Ryan aside and told him that he just overheard Sean saying that: he was deliberately playing breakup games with them and can't be held responsible if Ryan isn't as committed, as he should be, or Randy is too slow to keep up. If Randy had said that, I am sure Ryan would have listened and Sean would have been history by now. Instead, Randy doesn't do anything for two-thirds of the next Chapter during which time he claims: he doesn't know what to do; questions whether Sean is justified in playing these games; joins in a joke about Ariel and Tyler; allows Sean to verbally abuse him several more times. Randy doesn't even raise the issue himself. He waits ages for Ryan to ask and then this is the best that Randy can come up with? Seriously! I asked you if you'd be ok with Sean tagging along with us, you said it was cool." "It is cool. I'm ok with it. You said he was your friend, so..." "Don't. Ok? Just..." Ryan sighed to himself, and said, "Look, you're sick. Really really sick. But more than that, I can tell that you've got a real problem with Sean being here. Admit it." "I really want to be fair about this, Ryan..." "Admit it. Come on." He insisted. I wish he hadn't blindsided me with the question, but only because it didn't give me enough time to avoid the question. "I know we keep going around and around with this, but that boy is up to no good, Ryan. It's so easy for me to see that. Why can't you?". Seriously, that was a pathetically poor attempt to help Ryan see what was going on behind him. It conveyed nothing about Sean's actual scheming that had been exposed. Sean is clearly in his element exploiting Randy's total lack of communication skills. Randy even says he wishes he had more time to avoid the question. At the end of the day, Randy doesn't handle confrontation of any sort and this explains why he has such great problems coming out or showing public displays of affection. So in answer to my own frustrations here, I can now accept that Randy's actions are consistent with his personality and the rest of the storyline. I no longer need to pretend that certain things didnt happen. -
Chapter 55 - "My Favorite Nurse"

A much better chapter the minute, he who shall not be named, is out of the story. Give us a break from him Comsie, please!!! -
Chapter 54 - "On My Side"
Guest034229 commented on Comicality's story chapter in Chapter 54 - "On My Side"
How could Randy fail to tell Ryan everything that he overheard in the restroom, about Sean's low-down scheming tactics to break them up? Sean should be ancient history by now and we shouldn't be even having this conversation. I wish I wasn't being forced to accept: Randy's feeble-mindedness and failure to communicate as reasons for Ryan and Sean still being friends. Sean should be well and truly out of Ryan's life by now and Randy had as vested an interest in making that happen, as anyone. I know that it will probably make for a more intriguing storyline, later on, but it just crossed the line of plausibility for me. I now need to pretend that it didn't happen. Did I say that aloud? -
Chapter 53 - Sickness In Spring
Guest034229 commented on Comicality's story chapter in Chapter 53 - Sickness In Spring
Well that should be the end of Sean. All Randy has to do is tell Ryan the conversation that he has just heard in the restrooms and all of the low-down dirty scheming tricks that Sean had just confessed to. That the only reason he was there today, when he felt so sick and wanted to be curled up in bed, was that he was being forced to fight for his boyfriend. That should be way more than enough for Ryan to kick Sean into touch and probably give him a good beating in the process. If not, then Ryan's not worth it and Cody would be a far better friend to Randy. Randy just needs to pull Ryan aside and tell him this is what he overheard Sean saying in the restrooms. Let them be happy...." "If they're so 'happy'...then I shouldn't be much a factor in ruining anything. Don't you agree?" "Look, Ryan is his own man. He's got a brain and he's fully capable of making his own choices in life. All I'm doing is making myself available. If he loves his boyfriend so much, then there's nothing to sweat over. He has fun, I have fun, and it's no harm done." Sean told him. "But if he doesn't...if they're not as 'in love' as you think they are...or if Randy is too slow to keep up...well, that won't be my fault, will it?" If Ryan hears of the breakup games that Sean is playing and continues to befriend Sean at Randys expense then it's time for Randy to face the "him or me" speech. -
Chapter 52 - "In Sickness And In Health"
Guest034229 commented on Comicality's story chapter in Chapter 52 - "In Sickness And In Health"
I think Ryan is such a self assured character, that he is convinced that Sean can't possibly affect his and Randy's relationship. So Ryan treats all of Sean's antics as harmless fun. After all, Ryan rarely meets people with Sean's level of confidence and it's a quality he really admires. Unfortunately, Ryan has also convinced himself that it's really Randy's issue here, for not trusting Ryan. Worse still, Ryan believes he has taken the upper ground by forgiving Randy for his jealousy. The sad thing is that this situation is no longer about Ryan's ability to stay loyal but about how Ryan is prepared to leave Randy suffer for having brought this on himself. Once Ryan has made up his mind, he's never wrong. He has to learn the hard way. Unfortunately, that way is going to be a great deal harder for Randy. -
It's going to be an interesting week ahead. Randy all snotted up, at home and Ryan running wild at the carnival, in the clutches of the 'Baron'. Maybe Wilson's use of the 'F' bomb was perfectly acceptable now, given the similarity of the circumstances. π

Chapter 50 - "Home Again"
Guest034229 commented on Comicality's story chapter in Chapter 50 - "Home Again"
Wow, so much has happened in two days. Coming out to his mum is surely going to feel like the lesser of many issues facing Randy right now. At least tell her before Hailey risks broadcasting it around. Believe me Randy, Your mum has known you two were an item for a long time, at least since your dad was here and that Hickey had no known source. Maybe she could have helped by letting you know it was OK or was it better that she tried to respect you're privacy. In any case, just get it over with and you'll feel so much better. π And then you can begin to address some of next week's issues like Hailey, being outed at School and Sean the Porn. By the way, I'd be a little concerned by Ryan saying "I'm not deluded enough to think that I could do any better". It sounds positive enough on the face of it but implicit in that statement is that Ryan thinks it is possible to do better, just very unlikely. It's all in the possibilities and who better to exploit those than Sean. -
Chapter 49 - "It's A Date"
Guest034229 commented on Comicality's story chapter in Chapter 49 - "It's A Date"
Great way to date, Ryan. It was almost perfect but for the lurking shadow cast by Sean the Porn, who Ryan insists should remain a large part of their lives. Is it ever OK, in a long term relationship, for your partner to ask that you drop one of your friends just for their peace of mind? The answer surely has to be yes, if your partner's happiness means anything to you. If you're being asked to get rid of a lot of your friends, then that's a different matter. But really Ryan, you're simply being asked to give up Sean, like you expected Randy to give up Tyler, back when he was a personal threat to you. Anyhow, what's the voice of reason doing on these pages? There's just no place for it, in a gripping story spanning over 60 chapters. π And to throw in the Hailey bomb right at the end. Well that's another full conversation, for another time. -
Ha. OK so I've learned something new ππππ

Chapter 48 - "Monkey Blowtorch Day" (Part 2)
Guest034229 commented on Comicality's story chapter in Chapter 48 - "Monkey Blowtorch Day" (Part 2)
At long last, a better ending to an awful day for our two heroes. I dare say that Sean has a Plan B and a Plan C in that self-serving destructive mind of his. I doubt that he will allow a small setback like this, dissuade him from his goal. As for that level 3 boss, there's clearly a lot of thought gone into that. The stuff of someone's fantasies; not sure whose! By the way, I'd like to see this scene played out in full on the Director's cut Comsie.π Wilson was furious at this point. "I'm telling you the truth! If I say that my friend Randy is a fag, then he's a fag! And he can prove it, too! I swear he can!!!" -
Chapter 46: "Fox In The Hen House"
Guest034229 commented on Comicality's story chapter in Chapter 46: "Fox In The Hen House"
I was thinking the same thing a few chapters ago. What if Cody and Sean are a tag team with a keen interest in breaking up couples. Sean gets Ryan and Cody picks up what's left of Randy. Now that would be way too Machiavellian. I'm sure that Comsie wouldn't stoop that lowπΊπΊ I'm getting more paranoid than Randy now. ππ―π -
Randy needs to sit down with Ryan and explain everything about Sean's tactics. So when Ryan eventually sees the signs for himself and witnesses the argument that will no doubt happen, he can wise up to Sean's plan of stepping in to help.

Chapter 44: "Chapter 44"
Guest034229 commented on Comicality's story chapter in Chapter 44: "Chapter 44"
"Mmmh....and there it is." Randy about to get shafted again but this time by his immaturity at the lunch table. Sean is ridiculing Randy for keeping Ryan under lock and key, and encouraging Ryan on the best ways to flirt. Randy has to see that Cody' s version of events matches completely with a loyal friend being used by Sean. Of course, Randy should have got up and left with Cody and told Sean that Cody was probably sick of being used by him, like everyone else that Sean was toying around with. That would have spelt out the real issue with Sean and would force Ryan to reconsider Randy's perspective. But instead, Randy does the worst thing possible. He condones Sean's behaviour and blames it on Cody having personal issues. Well they are becoming your personal issues now Randy. So wise up fast! -
Chapter 43: "Whispers, Scandals, & Secrets"
Guest034229 commented on Comicality's story chapter in Chapter 43: "Whispers, Scandals, & Secrets"
Randy is getting so many things wrong right now. He should have come out to his mom ages ago. It's just the two of them at home and she has assured him that there is nothing he could do that would change that. He could have come out at home and not at school and taken it one step at a time. Seriously, if your mother can't spot these things after two years and your dad can spell it out on one trip home, then it is no mother I have ever seen. Also, Sean has made it clear that his whole game is about adding the best looking boys, to his bed notches and Randy is forever thinking it's still possible for it to be Cody's and his own paranoia. Ryan is obviously enjoying being openly flirted with by Sean, and needs that as part of his long term relationship. It"s time for Randy to be prepared to grow with Ryan's openness or risk him meeting someone who can offer that. I would think that Sean's seduction of Ryan is almost complete now. And if that happens there's a good chance Randy will seek solace with Cody. But don't worry Randy, Sean will have dumped Ryan within a week or two.
