  1. Good chapter. Hoping to soon actually meet Tamara.
  2. Wow, and thank you. A great chapter. Really glad that you focused on Joshie and Benji. Hope to see and here more from and about them going forward. They are now the age that most of the original Castaways were for much of the original run. Glad you addressed therir sexuality. Also, I hope that Tamara joins the cast? Currently, Trans teens are still the most misunderstood and truly need support. Was so glad that she has two great guys in her corner. The dad's raised their boys right; props to them. Only one slight plot surprise for me, I figured that Trey and Dion would be active in the SGA Good to see the TJ settling, and that his dad's are coping.
  3. Had to feel for Wyatt, but finally his little brother is home. As I read this, I thought of my many former colleagues who either had a baby or in one case adopted a pair of Young sibblings. And was thankful for the Paternity leave offered both in Canadian law and in our teaching contracts.
  4. A bit of constructive criticism - there is a lot of pressure term prepping and setting up that teacher's need to do in the week leading up to the school year. It will be interesting to see how Trey and Dion juggle everything going on with the hetic first few weeks of being back in the classroom. Again another well done chapter. I expect that Wyatt must often be on pins and needles awaiting to meet his new brother.
  5. To me one of your most powerful moments were when Jessie uttered "An-dew hurt"
  6. The two were one super close, where is their friendship at this point.
  7. Would love to see a deep conversation between Andrew and Jessie.
  8. I was touched by the bit about Cody. "It's been 16 years" ,😕 To me Cody and Graham was the most tragic love story of the original castaways. Graham never got his happily ever after.
  9. Setting stage for the return to school. Glad TJ is doing so well.
  10. Glad you caught up on the Farm. It was an important part of Little Ricky's youth.
  11. Since in the timeline of the story we are about 8 months out from the Covid shutdown. With so many of the greater Curry household in careers or at a stage of their life, that when it happens it will cause a huge upheaval. Danny's and Brandon's clinic? All the teacher's and student's? Josh is at much higher risk. The baby. Some very compelling storytelling .
  12. Great Chapter. You did an excellent job in your summary of President Carter. My only very minor quibble, was not noting him still building Habitat for Humanity homes, into his 90's. He truly represents the best of America.
  13. A timely and thought provoking chapter, as Jake put it, "We have made progress, but have a long way to go." Point was well made in a way to make one stop and think. And that is always a good thing.
  14. One more thought, since you are mixing up narrators, between Josh and Trey, may I suggest, that at some point perhaps add in Joshie. Would be interesting to see his personal perspective.
  15. Thinking about this, would love you to spend some time exploring the relationship between Benny and Joshie and their personal sexuality. Are they just playing, or who do they view themselves as part of the LBBTQ+ community. And how at this sensitive time each of these two teens are dealing with having gay parents. Would like to see, as reflected through your characters eyes, how LGBTQ+ teens are being viewed today. As well as, how the three pairs of gay dad's (Josh and Jake - okay, grand-dads, Danny and Brandon, as well as, Dion and Trey) are viewed by the community. Lastly (for now😉), would love for you to have a trans youth, either direction, be introduced. It is currently, the big LGBTQ+ concern and it could bring some thought provoking reactions from the various members of the house. Like always looking forward to your next chapter in the lives of the extended family.
  16. I sense that Joshie is hitting the stage that he wants some Independence from his Dad's.
  17. Thanks again, another enjoyable chapter

    Chapter 18 – TJ

Quick question, timeline wise, what is the date at the start of Book 4? Summer of ____?

    Chapter 18 – TJ

A heart felt chapter. I had a small tear in my eye for much of it. You brought out my paternalistic side and I could imagine what Trey and Dion were feeling. Well done.

    Chapter 25

Wasn't it Ariel in his own unique way win the Teddy, and gave it to Tyler?
  21. Wonder if Dion will ever share with Joshie the importance of the tree house. Speaking of that, might be nice to touch in with Joshie's birth mother.
  22. Just came across this story arc on Nifty. All I can say is thank you.
  23. Your two newest castaways already have a vice on our hearts 💖
