River had been so, so, painfully wrong. Alec almost dropped his face into his hands when they got out of the car. It was a short walk to the bar’s entrance and Alec watched River’s back to not stare at the man standing by the doors. Finn’s hair was spiked again, up and away from his face. He was wearing a tight burgundy short sleeve shirt that clung to every single muscle on his torso. Finn was staring down at his phone, absentmindedly touching his stubble. The dark wash jeans were back and he e

Alec was sitting on a bench at the end of River’s hotel bed while his friend fussed with a red spike choker. He was still dazed and not completely sure how he’d driven to River’s mother’s and then all the way to the hotel in another town. He fiddled with the strap of the camera on his lap and tried not to replay the entire afternoon. The last thing he needed was to have a situation arise. River would tease him brutally and then he’d want to know what had caused it. “Is this too much?” River

Yay! Now more people can appreciate your way with words! @Philippe I know I do! -
They were at the outlook and Alec was sitting next to Finn on the tailgate. They were sitting shoulder to shoulder and Finn’s thigh was pressed to Alec’s. He didn’t have the weight on his chest any longer. Alec let his eyes slip closed as he concentrated on the warm sun. Everywhere Finn was touching him was electric. It was nearly painful, but Alec never wanted it to stop. Ever since they’d kissed in the car, Finn had been silent. That was Alec’s reasoning for focusing on his surroundings so har

@Georgie DHainaut I base a lot of Alec’s mental…ramblings? Lol on my own thought processes so there may be a little self depricating going on
-
@Georgie DHainaut yes, yes I got the reference! The whole thing made me laugh Thank you for your compliment 🖤
-
“…the emotional and sexual paralytic…” How did you get the title of my nonexistent memoir? Naw, in all seriousness, this was sweet and I really loved the setting!🖤

The house was cute. It was a single story with white siding and a nice red door. Alec swallowed as he walked up the paved driveway and cut across the immaculate front yard. There were flower bushes along the front of the house with yellow, red, and white flowers. Alec was a little surprised at how neat and adorable the house was. He was having a hard time believing that Milo lived here. He was nervous and Milo hadn’t given him a chance to disagree or complain. It wasn’t until he’d been gett

The hospital loomed ahead and Alec sighed. Tucking his hands into his pockets, he trudged up the sidewalk to the main entrance. Amid all his Finn-related drama, his father had left the most hopeless voicemail in the history of mobile phones. Alec didn't want to feel bad. After all, Henry had made his bed. He had married Alec’s mother and stood by while she repeatedly hurt their child. This trip was obligatory and after only a few days he was sick of it all. He didn't want to deal with his mother

The phone call with Finn had been unsettling. What was the blond thinking? Second chance? He was crazy. Alec blinked at the sunlight coming in through the windows, grimacing. Too bright. He hadn’t slept long enough. His brain was far too busy panicking and dragging up every old memory it could. His therapy appointment was later this morning and it couldn’t come soon enough. River was amazing, but he needed someone to talk to that had a degree and his friend had his own problems. Alec hummed soft
