  1. Okay, thanks. There’s some kind of a ladder. That makes sense. Regards, Jack.
  2. Hello everyone. Will some kind soul please tell me what two black dots on my profile means? I seem to have morphed from “Newbie’ to ‘Member dot dot.” I hope it’s something nice because so far today I’ve turned out to be a Che Guevara personality type, a four on the Kinsey scale via three different testing methods, and sixty per cent likely to be bipolar. Meh. I hardly dare take the Winnie The Pooh test. =;0)
  3. 🤫 It’s 1a.m. on Tuesday. I can’t sleep. It feels like I’m tiptoeing through the house while everyone else is making zeds. ZZZZZZZ 🤫
  4. Hello. The sky is clear here. Waiting for some thermals to attract the Red Kites back overhead. I tried on my new summer shorts. The shorts look fantastic! Knees...not so much. 🤣🤣🤣
  5. These poems are unique and wonderful. I’ve read nothing to compare with them. The work of renaissance poet John Dryden was described as having a “precision and concentration” unlike any other. These poems have similar strengths. As I am not in the D/s Life it’s hard for me to understand the true meaning of some of the words. The responses from those who are in the D/s Life show that these poems have hit the mark. But I do understand love and commitment, and there is plenty of that here. Again, unique and wonderful. These poems. should be read by everyone. Thank you, Jack.

    Family

Very clever, thank you Wayne. I enjoyed the story’s venturing to the border where love meets duty. The deepest relationships are where trust is given and received. These two men will be happy together and that makes me happy too. I enjoy Corbin and his cohorts and would love to hear more from them. (Perhaps you might consider writing an adventure where Bailey has to work with Corbin’s blessing to rescue Harlan from danger?) Looking forward to more. Soon, please! Thanks again, Jack. 😁
  7. I tried to upload a pic of the strainer rest but apparently I’ve run out of space... 🤕
  8. Thanks! It’s a Whittard’s tea pot and a Whittard’s tea strainer rest. There’s another rest with “Midsomer Murders” printed on it. That one belongs to my other half. They got it with a subscription to Midsomer Murders DVDs. We have to drink tea while we watch them! 😂
  9. Hi, I’m looking forward to more stories from you and Wayne very much indeed. Seems like I’ve read most of the stories in the world while I’ve been squirreled away in isolation. Some of them have been quite bizarre! I think my quality control filter is in jeopardy....need rescuing.....heeelp! 🤪
  10. Good afternoon. It’s tea time here. I’m enjoying a cuppa’. That’s my tea pot in the pic. Hope you all have a lovely day, wherever and whomsoever you all are xx
  11. That sounds adventurous. I’m working my way up to shorts. I’ve been wearing some three quarter length “Hobbit - style” trousers. I’m a little nervous about taking the next step. It’s the knees, you see. My knees have seen a lot of wear over the last six decades*. I’m not sure they’ve remained glamorous enough for shorts. We shall soon find out. 🤭 *Praying, obviously. 😉
  12. My mail order summer shorts arrived. Just before it peed down! 😎
  13. Definitely with BOILING water. Unless the water is boiling the leaves cannot release their full bounty into it. Michael is making tea the right way. Ignore all advice to the contrary! =;0)
  14. Yes! Definitely. Tea is “The One True Drink.” Faced with a choice between giving up my Chateau De Berne wine or my Harmutty Assam tea I would give up the wine. It’s no contest. An Englishman without tea would be......unthinkable. Real tea. Made from leaves. In a pot. With BOILING water! 😁

    Sacrifice

Splendid! I wished for some angst and drama and Wayne delivered in spades. Top bloke! Bailey’s beautiful soul juxtaposed with Harlan’s inner beast makes for lively reading. Thank goodness Harlan found the spirit to submit to Bailey’s holding a mirror up to his own true feelings. Now....is Corbin an ordained minister? 😘
  16. Mornin’ all. It’s hot, sunny and hasn’t rained for days over here. So...I ordered some pairs of summer shorts online. Assorted summery colours. And now...... it’s raining! 😐
  17. That’s a lovely compliment, thanks a lot. I will try to live up to it. Fond regards, Jack.
  18. Thank you for the welcome, I love GA, it’s my refuge in NHS-enforced isolation. All the best, Jack.
  19. Outstanding! Read it, then read it again! Wayne has skilfully crafted a tender tale of two bruised souls intertwined by fate and cruel misfortune. A chance for a change of fortunes presents itself in the unlikely forms of the charred remains of a journal and a broken boiler. Our protagonists learn, little by little, how challenging pasts can be built on and moved forward from. Fall in love with the two main characters and enjoy how their strengths and weaknesses are tested. This story will make you cry, and occasionally laugh but above all will make you feel all the better for reading it. So what are you waiting for? Get reading!

    Thanksgiving

Fab chapter! Now can we look forward to some *ahem* even more intimate moments from Elias and Rayne? Assuming, of course, that our lovely author isn’t going to throw any curved balls with the test results. I can’t wait to see how Harlan and Bailey deal with The Family connection. Perhaps they’ve had it fairly easy this chapter to set them up for some drama. One can only hope. I do love a bit of angst and drama. Thanks a lot Wayne.

    Trust

You have to love those five star room service breakfasts with crispy bacon and sides of blowjob! The interlacing trust relationships in this chapter are fascinating. There’s a web-like relationship map being drawn here. Bailey’s therapeutic dismantling and reassembling of Harlan’s walls, brick by brick, is a joy to follow. It’s somewhat like cognitive behavioural therapy with added eroticism! I wish Harlan the grace to yield completely to it. Huck’s asking for help “as a father” brought a lump to my throat since my own father and his father before him were both cruel, violent arseholes. I’m gladdened that Rayne and Elias have Huck’s support and love and that Huck has Clay and Orson to turn to. Elias’s wonderful naiivety mixed in with worldly past experience is very moving. Loved Elias’s PJs quip! He’s survived and is growing as a worthwhile human. I feel he will continue to contribute growth and development to Rayne, Huck and Orson. Finally Wayne, who knew that you (and Google) would introduce me to the weird and exotic world of heterograph memes? Thank you! Looking forward to more chapters, Jack.
  22. Everyone can be brave given the right circumstances. Sometimes our loved ones just need a timely nudge in the right direction. Young Daniel has courage enough to stand up to and for his love, and the strength to push Colin towards his destiny. Even in the face of darker forces, such as Hilda and her cronies, love can win. If, like me, you loathe political correctness and religious hypocrisy but love lovers, then this is a story for you. It will warm your heart. I wholeheartedly commend it to you. Regards, Jack.

    A New Day

Magic? I never read stories about magic. But I read this one and I’m glad I did. Your writing style is compelling. Sorry I came here so late in the day. Best wishes, Jack.
  24. Wayne, I’ll never tire of reading more Camp Refuge episodes. The characters, young and older, are all so well drawn. The emotional highs and lows are very real to me. You’ve made me laugh and cry. Great work! Everyone should read this series. All the best, Jack.

    Worthy

Hooray for Shawn! I’ll happily pay for his dinners if he helps move the lovebirds forward. Another fine chapter, thank you. Btw, this is my first post. I’ve been lurking forever and finally joined up a few minutes ago. I blame Wayne for that! =;0) Best wishes, Jack.
