ANOTHER ROUND OF COCKTALES
Wombat Bill posted new chapter in Catering with Benefits (2) - Second Course
During a break, Justin entered the room immediately ready for serving. The course was deep fried calamari rings. Justin was wearing a very tight gold cock ring to maintain an erection for the length of this service. His erection was necessary as his cock was stacked eight inches high, with calamari rings. As he entered the room, Justin spotted two late arrivals at the party and gave them a smile, which was reciprocated with a thumbs up from Brett. The crowd rushed to Justin to partake- 6 comments

Again a consensus. Feelings seem to be with Raj and against Juanito. Not surprising really. @chris191070 Pleased you liked the Cocktales' stories. @ReaderPaul - I included the BF story because it really happened to, a somewhat dizzy, friend of mine many years ago. @NimirRaj - Let's hope Edward and Romel haven't said to much about Junaito to Raj. / I sorta feel opposite about this. I'm pretty sure Paul's statement was in align with your feelings about this. I read it as. not to alert Raj unnecessarily or prematurely. This could be more hurtful than not telling him until they find the truth. Has anyone seen @Summerabbacat? Off topic I know, but I can't believe this is summer. Currently 11.00 am in the middle of summer and the temp's only 19c. Has been like this for most of summer this year. Stil that's better then the fires last year. I know, I know, we really don't know what cold is here. My thoughts go out to those in Texas etc.

Justin called ‘Hair We Are’ to make an appointment for a waxing, only to be told his waxer would be Melany. “So when will Brett or Jeremy be available?” “They no longer work here Sir. Shall I make an appointment for you? Melany is very experienced.” “No thanks, I’ll leave it for now.” Justin didn’t have either of their phone numbers, so he called Edward in the hope that he might have one of them from when he did the interview. “Good Morning ‘Wax and Wane’ this is Brett.”

Well gentlemen, there is not much left for me to say. You seem to have sorted it out between yourselves. I will add just one comment - Please don't judge Justin too harshly. He made his "decision" in the heat of the moment, with ho time to give it much thought. In these instances self-survival kicks in first. If Justin had the opportunity to sit comfortably and mull over his options he may have taken a different course of action or he may have still done the same. We will never know.

Virginia Price, at the suggestion of Craig, had been invited by Cynthia to attend the Foundation’s Australia Day fundraiser. When Jonathan refused her invitation to join her, because he was attending a political fundraiser at a harbourside mansion, she was disappointed. She then turned her disappointment into an opportunity. Desmond would be driving her to the function so she sent him off to her husband’s tailor to be measured for a lounge suit. “But why do I need a new suit?” “Because

@Summerabbacat- The revelation, almost anti-climactic as Justin is so pre-occupied with the impending catering events. Woah, there’s that impatience surfacing again. The relationship between Virginia and Jonathan appears to be a healthy one of mutual respect and care, no doubt comfortable and comforting for each. It is likely to bring a contentment that both were perhaps not even aware they have yearned for, until quite recently.- Such beautiful words. I have but one question for you @Wombat Bill. How sensitive are Brendan's nipples?- I’m not sure where this one coming from. Perhaps an allusion to Brendan “enjoying” gay sex in jail. @NimirRaj Some cynical part of me still thinks of him as lazy and greedy as to why the job with Mr. P piqued his interested despite acquiring a reliable job, a place to stay with minimal expenses/costs, and the ability to go to college. - This is not the first time you have accused Juanito of being lazy. With, study, 2 part-time jobs, (waiting and sex worker) and a lover to service, I think he’s the most over-worked character in the cast. This, of course is all driven by his greed, which you have also noticed. @chris191070 - I wasn't up as early as normal. - That’s partly my fault. There is a bug with the post-dating system on GA and they have advised not to use it till fixed. So I published direct, earlier in the day, not as I usually do at 5.00pm Sydney time. @ReaderPaul- By the way, in the comments on the last chapter, you said we would find out what Desmond has heard. Maybe in the next chapter? - Maybe my reference was too subtle. Jared got no answer when he bid Desmond goodbye and then found him in the kitchen. ALL OF THE ABOVE - Wow! Juanito has finally behaved with all the impudence I sensed he possessed in spades. There is only one thing bigger than his gall, his ego. - Juanito is the most devious and obnoxious character to have surfaced in this story to date. - Juanito is coming across as slippery and devious.- would love to see Juanito reduced to the snivelling little bitch I think he inherently is. - Juanito will be fully exposed as the fraudster (I am trying to be kind in saying this) I believe he is. - Juanito may not rim, but I bet he will be very adept at arse-kissing Jonathan if there is an economic advantage in doing so. - Are some of you auditioning for Edward’s role? I have not seen such vitriol since Brendan.

“Jared, after that explanation about you and Thomas and your friends and my wife and I, it seems I need to reflect upon our lives. To hear the way you explain it we sound like we live our lives in some sort of soapy.” “Sorry Jonathan, I didn’t mean to be disrespectful. It wasn’t meant to sound like that. I just tried to explain it the way it is.” “That’s fine Jared. I just didn’t realise there was so much happening around me that I don’t know about. All the time I spend running the bus

Yeah well, I hated the Bard and used to pose the following question "Why do we use the big S to teach us English, when it's totally unintelligible English. Oh yeah, I once went to see 'Godot' live and at the end, the only thing I could say to me accompanying friend was "WHY" Now another beef about our friends. I sat down this morning to write a serious argument between two characters who had a problem. Easy you would think. Well they hijacked me again. It turned out to be so funny (in my mind only perhaps) that I was laughing out loud. Don't think I'll ever get the knack of this writing thing.

@chris191070 - Mrs P stays on the Gold Coast. Mr P returns and gets friendly with Jared. - Chris, you have a unique knack of distilling over 3800 words into one sentence. @Summerabbacat - He may be salvageable yet.- Yes, people are not always as they first seem. Some famous writer, also named Bill, once said “All the world's a stage, And all the men and women merely players.” I trust this WILL be revealed in a subsequent chapter or there may be a revolt - Is the CAPITALISATION of the word will indicate another threat? Here’s another quote for you - 'all good things come to those who) wait' @Paqman - I feel Jared has revealed too much to Mr. P. Business men are used to keeping secrets. Oh wait, I just remembered why. So they can use them later? @ReaderPaul - I predict we may find out how much Desmond heard in the future. You will, in the next chapter. If the increasing spiderweb of events keeps tangling, Thomas and Jared will somehow have to get with Daniel, Brett, Jeremy, and Edward for advice on the situation. Yes, I hear you loud and clear Paul. You want your favourites back. Are we REALLY sure Mrs. P stayed with Lucy? Or is Mr. P being ostentatiously obvious about being at the house so he and Mrs. P can spy things out? - You remind me of a famous biblical character also named Thomas. @NimirRaj - Jared losing track of time with Mr P as well as Thomas knowing Mr. P’s interest in men may lead to Thomas feeling suspicious & jealous. - Would we expect any less from Thomas? In a way it makes him seem vulnerable as if he feels he has to prove something in order to validate himself. - Brilliant observation! The “family dynamics” are just way too complicated for anyone to be truly happy with how things are. In the next chapter Mr P sums this up. Watch for his use of the word ‘soapy’

Jared and Thomas found themselves in a very difficult situation. They loved each other, wanted to be together but also had duties to their employer and had to consider the security of their employment. Two days after New Year, Virginia Price spoke to Jared and told him she and her husband were going to the Gold Coast for a week and that he should take the opportunity to have the time off also. After talking to Jared, Thomas confirmed this with her and that gave the two boys a perfect opport

Speaking of humour, I've just had a lot of fun myself, this morning, writing a chapter about Justin's first visit to a French restaurant. Te voila The adventures of a male trolley dolly or cart tart. Mmm is there a male term other than Qantas Queen? Ok, if you want Rani and Daniel back, you do realise there will be tension in the air with Brett. He may yet turn out to be a young Edward. Oh no! Perhaps the full title should be 'Waxing and Waning your Moon" PS. Check out chapter 16, it now has an image of guess who?

@chris191070, @Summerabbacat, @ReaderPaul, A combined response today, because there seems to be a consensus on the new and re-kindled relationships. And like @NimirRaj I don't want to speculate on the Prices. I'm not sure I even understand some of the suggestions, let alone write about them. @ReaderPaul, "I still want to see more of Daniel, Rani, and Brett." Jeremy and Brett's new venture will be featured in book 3, Now Rani has blotted her copy book, I'm not sure how the rest of the crew will accept her. Daniel, on the other hand seems a thoroughly nice guy , no promises, but maybe in book 3. Perhaps we need a bit of balance re sexual orientation, so Daniel and Rani could provide that. I can just see two competing businesses next to each other "Hair We Are" and "Waxing and Waning". That sounds like fun. It has recently occurred to me that apart from one trip north by Justin and Craig, none of our friends have traveled or even had a holiday. Looks like I work them too hard. Had better send some of them away before we reach that year we should not mention.

In the lead-up to Christmas it was not just Christmas cheer that was in the air but also the blossoming of new love. Raj’s neighbours, the Fletchers, a retired couple decided to go to the UK in the hope of having a white Christmas. Their daughter was working in London and invited her parents over for Christmas. They asked Raj if he would house-sit for them and take care of their cats. Raj jumped at the opportunity to have some independence from his parents. He also recognised the opportunit

I am overjoyed that you all found this chapter special as it was one of my favourites to write. When I started I had no plan other than to write a chapter about a lunch for the group. All the characters were so keen to say something they just nudged me at the right time and said their piece. Despite his shortcomings sometimes, Edward is the character that I feel closest to and as such he was the perfect character to tell this part of the story. Although there is a common thread, you have all found different observations in this chapter. You are all so keen find the ‘real’ meaning or motives, and as a writer that gives me a buzz, as it means you care about these people, even the unlovable ones. @Summerabbacat - I am constantly reminded in reading this wonderful work of the marvellous Tales Of The City series written by your American "cousin", Armistead Maupin. - Bugger!, I was hoping you wouldn’t notice. He is my all time favourite writer and I read all the ‘Tales’ series many years ago. No doubt his writing has influenced me, as most writers are probably influenced by other writers. But please let me know if I seem to be copying him. the characters you have painted have become like "family" to this reader at least. Thank you, that’s how I feel about them also and like all family members, I have to set them free and sometimes overlook their inadequacies. @chris191070 It is so beautiful, centered around Edward, who for once is not behaving like a bitcy old Queen. - Hopefully, like family members, he has come across as multidimensional without being contradictory. This chapter is so full of love, we see all the friends in established relationships and relationships that are new or rekindled. - Yes, I think our friends are going to start off the new year high on the power of love. @NimirRaj - Can’t help having some pity for poor Raj considering the reaction he had to Tristan’s revelation. - Yes, it’s about time Raj started to ‘live’. He has always been there for his friends but has stayed in the background when it comes to love. as Edward pointed out something could be stirring between Raj & Juanito - Will this be a good coupling? Gentle and perhaps naive Raj together with worldly Juanito who has had many accusations levelled at him by readers. If there is a relationship it could go in any direction. Even I don’t know yet. @ReaderPaul this is not quite the place to end this book. You should consider concluding it soon, - There are seven more chapters in this book and book three is underway. The first entirely new writing I have done in a year. Although I have added considerably to books 1 & 2 as characters find something they want to do and say or invite new friends to join. Too much activity with Thomas could impair his ability to "get it up" for Mrs. P by giving him mixed feelings. Yes, I’m worried about this also. Raj and Juanito? I am going to have to wait and see on that one. - Oh, do I sense some doubts here? How do you want it to go? No don’t tell me, I know. The romantic Paul wants them to have a long loving relationship - right? Love you all, Bill

A few years back Edward had invited his friends to a pre-Christmas dinner at his place and it had now become a tradition with their group. He had first done this as his way of having an end of year get-together before all members of the group went in different directions to celebrate, or not celebrate, Christmas according to their own families’ traditions. Romel usually went back to Manila with his parents, to celebrate Christmas with his extended family, so this was also Edward’s way of celebra

@NimirRaj - ☺️ Does Craig offer shipping? - OMG I forgot to put them on-line, alas summertime deliveries may leave them looking a bit flaccid. OR - Brett will probably sell them in his new salon. I wonder if Rani would be interested in offering them to her favourite clients, as a special ‘Daniel’ edition that you have to release from a cock cage. @ReaderPaul Daniel might want to surprise his significant other by waxing. And he can get it done at the opposition salon. Cookies - Biscuits in Aust. Gran might like to make Spotted Dick - @chris191070 - may be able to explain. The wildfires of 2019-2020 would provide a different angle of drama - So you want “Catering with Benefits - Burnt Offerings” and “Catering with Benefits - Covid on a Stick, served with Corona”. Guys, I had a plan for part three now I don't know where I'm gong with this. PS. The YouTube upload fell over. I think there's a problem with the file. -

@ReaderPaul - Gran enlisted to bake some stuff for the guys. Not chocolate tempering I hope. What could come eventually . - One of your suggestions was already in the plan for part 3. Some others may appear after I consult with our characters. Daniel getting his pubes waxed? - Now there’s someone who hasn’t be seen for a long time. @Summerabbacat - guilty of ageism. - Yes, I am in the way I write of youthful beauty. Oh well, that's my prerogative as a writer. the bushfires of late 2019/early 2020 into the story in future. I dread getting to this time period, not because of the fires, although we did evacuate three times, but I don’t want to write in 2020 for obvious reasons. The story is currently in late 2017 and will soon kick over into 2018. Either 2018/19 will have to be long years OR the story becomes timeless as in undated. @chris191070 - I think Gran would love a chocolate penis, just think how excited she would get. - Chris you are so naughty sometimes, you need a good spanking, but then again, you'd probably enjoy that. @NimirRaj - Where are you? -

When Jeremy and Brett went into work the next day there was an icy atmosphere in the salon, so they kept to their private room and kept clear of Rani. As closing time was approaching, Rani finally spoke to Jeremy, only to say “I want you and Brett, to stay behind after closing time for a short meeting.” “No problem Rani, we owe you some time after letting us take time off yesterday.” When Jeremy told Brett he asked “What’s the meeting for?” “She didn’t say, but it’s just us.”- 15 comments

Well, done guys, I think you have all outdone yourselves with your comments. @chris191070 - A little bit of mystery to be solved. Yes Chris, always a little more mystery to keep you turning the page. @NimirRaj - Seems like Juanito is a little jealous and perhaps is truly interested in Andy despite his previous attitude seeming to indicate otherwise. I may have been too subtle in the chapter where Andy turns down Juanito, but when Juanito mentions role play, he was serious. He wasn't really planing to treat it as a professional gig. So your suspicion of jealousy is correct. @Summerabbacat - (there WILL be consequences if you don't). OMG, we're resorting to treats. May have to report this. Now another snippet of information for your international readers regarding the Australian Marriage Equality plebiscite. Thanks for doing that. I didn't put too many facts in the story, so it wouldn't read as a documentary. @ReaderPaul - Let us hope that eventually all of the world's countries will grant equality, though some will lag way behind. A few years ago I made a little video about this and called it "Love is in the Air" It features a lot of pics of my friends in the Philippines, but I'm sure they won't mind if I upload it to YouTube. I will upload it later today. My YouTube channel link is on my GA profile. Bear in mind it was made two years ago and Taiwan has since proceeded with legislation. The first in Asia, though I strongly believe that will be reversed when the communist bully takes them back. Oh yes, I'm in it also.

In November 2017 the Australian government held a plebiscite to gauge the public opinion on same sex marriage. The result was announced on November 14 with a majority of 62% of voters in favour. Three weeks later on December 7 the Australian Parliament voted to legalise same sex marriage. On that day many people held parties or went to their local pub to watch the parliamentary vote live on television. Justin was keen to arrange a gathering of his friends, so he invited them to drinks at th

@NimirRaj - or um “attacked” Justin. - Gran might have said “No need to apologise my boy. I’m not that far behind the times" but I don't think she would go any further than that. @ReaderPaul - Oh, I would have loved to hear the rest of Justin's explanation! - I think he only repeated what you read in the chapter "The red wine incident" @Summerabbacat- She demonstrated a great sense of humour in this chapter, and proved her acceptance of "rainbow families" She's not a bad old stick is she? @chris191070 - I hope he gets a long sentence. Finally a character you're all glad to see the end of. But as we don't have the death penalty here, who knows? @Wombat Bill - I hope Brendan gets a LONG sentence. I actually didn't write a chapter about his sentencing, so put on your Judges hats and let me know what would be a suitable sentence.

Life had been going well for Justin and his mum since she moved closer. She had settled into a new life and was particularly happy that she now got to spend a lot more time with her son. But the thought of her husband and his eventual trial was never far from her mind, although she rarely mentioned it, particularly when in the company of Craig’s family. Three months after Justin’s father was arrested a date was announced for his trial. Jessica and Justin discussed if they would attend the t
