    OMG! that is horrible about the 5 yr old. I remember hearing about that! But I know for a fact that the author did not write this story because of him even if it seems like it! Too many details left out of this story to be the story about the 5 yr old.

    This story is not for ones that can't handle child abuse, but if you can then by all means, read it! It touches on different aspects of it and you begin to hate the abusers more and more. Brendan finds his youngest nephew and later get all 3 children even though he is a gay man. Some people think badly about gays but there are good ones in this world. A must read if you want a somewhat happy ending. Not all abused get a happy ending but in here they somewhat do!

    I am happy about the ending! Not everyone has a happy ending in real life either. But some come very close!

    Nick likes his psychologist. Jill has blocked out the rape and sodomy which has caused scarring, Jill and Brendan's dates went well. Hope they throw the book at the Taft parents, and they never get out!

    Lanny's behavior was due to his mom's raising, I bet. I am not so sure about Skylar and Brendan getting together though. Hope Brendan does find love though.

    The kids are asking their uncle a lot of questions to get to know him. Is Brendan being uncomfortable about it?

    Stuttering can be from anything. It can be through fear of talking to others, talking in public, abuse, or anything. I stuttered up till I was in m 20's. I never got help. I taught myself to relax and just say what was on my mind. Before that I was nervous. Steve may be one that needs help though. From all the abuse their parents gave all 3 kids then it is apparent that Steve was affected more. At least Jill seems to be better than both boys. Maybe it is cause she is older and has learned to deal with it better than the boys. No, it shouldn't have happened but lifelike this does happen and some people are sick people for doing this!

    Great start on this chapter. As I was reading it, I figured the readers like myself would love a good story on how someone helped a child out and what I read in the comments, I was right.
