Oops! I missed a week of reading. I am glad things are looking up for the guys. Glad Roland was happy with all the lies and he is adding to it!

Well, well, well! I knew August had it in him! He got one over on his pa! Or did he? Well, pa went and got married and doesn't want Rob near his wife. The next thing that might happen is Pa kicks Rob out of the house and into the barn as a hired hand. At least Augst gets a team and wagon to take with him and his mare. And wants August out of the house before she shows up. Which is fine with August. Wonder if he will be able to take his ma's stuff too so the new wife doesn't have to look at it?

I hope Fletcher makes up his mind and goes with August and takes his stock with them.

I live in West Texas and we think just like the old west does. We even talk like the westerns so even though I am not from the old west, I still know about the hardships of people wanting their younguns to do the right thing and some of us do treat our kin folk the way August is treated. I am one that got treated that way, even though I am the oldest female sibling besides my younger sister whom got treated great. My brothers got treated the same way she got treated. People from the South has been like that for so long that it comes natural to them

He should just tell Fletcher the truth that it was him that he was eyeing and get it over with. He needs to go to Barnswallow and make a life for himself.

OMG I just remembered. I had an obscene phone call at 3 am years ago at my dad's house. Wonder if the author caught that in another story he read that or maybe I told him. Now that has me thinking! 🤔

I just thought of something. Why does this story remind me of something? I have to think about it for a bit!

I am wondering if James is a little jealous of Taggert getting along with Ash. He may be wanting to work with Ash and getting close to him. That is what the look from James seems like to me. And that is why James was willing to get rid of Taggert. That is my theory, anyway.

I do not like the way August's dad and brother treat him. They are mean and it seems they want him away from them.

WOW the tension changed between Ash and Taggert in the bar and then Ash is confused why his lower extremities is doing what it is doing while Taggert is asleep on his shoulder. Can't wait to fnd out when Ash has to wake Taggert up!

I am so glad to read another western of yours. They are full of spunk and excitement and also full of more desire. This first chapter was just what the doctor ordered (No she did not order it haha) cause I am that quack who ordered it. Your westerns are like medicine to me! I love them a lot!

Well, the tags make sense now and we will find out the truth as soon as @Wayne Gray gives it up. But let's just enjoy the story cause I am. I have a feeling that he will give us a bunch of twists and turns like he always does and I enjoy that about his writing ability! Let's hope Taggert is a worthwhile asset to the ranch at the end.
