    Bottoms Up!

Ugh they are dripping with sex - I’ve never found two fictional characters so appealing. Their flirting is soooo good. Also, I am officially lobbying for a Rusty side story. Get that boy a man! (Or at least a cat boy)
  2. Maddox is such a smooth operator. For a simple jock, he’s really clever with how he considers and manages Jonathan’s feelings. And he calls Hanna sneaky! Still, like others said this is some nice progress. Jonathan is a profoundly stubborn main character, and it sounds like some drama is currently hot off the press (literally) in the coming chapters. Excited for more!
  3. I’ll definitely do that, I see you’re a quite prolific writer. I love your approach to storytelling. And honestly, though I said “fantasy world”, thankfully it’s much less of a fantasy these days (at least where I live) and in some ways that makes it MORE realistic and modern to focus on love first and sexuality second. keep up the amazing work!
  4. Ugh this chapter was so good! The sarcastic, almost flirtatious confrontation with Rusty had me on the edge of my seat. The way you write foreplay and sex is some of the best on this site. You integrate the characters’ feelings and insecurities so well and mesh it together with their horniness, and it comes off as both realistic and hot as hell. I love how Johnathan loses his normal composure, and Maddox has to fight with every fiber of his being to convey how deeply he cares about him, while also simply wanting to get off. Really dynamic duo! Thanks for another great chapter!
  5. Love the new chapter. That pastor is a smooth talker - he is clearly either kinder than his fellow cult members, or much more clever. Time will tell which I guess. Seems like Mitch is being set up to be the next big obstacle. Steph is in a rough position so I don’t blame her for lacking some decision making skills - hopefully it doesn’t end up biting her or the child. Seems like we are headed in the direction of Robbie having better emotional control. I’m looking forward to how a more mature Robbie navigates his remaining high school years. Will he be able to keep Nathan on track? I worry about trouble arising again in paradise considering Nathan’s past mistakes. Then again, Robbie made plenty as well. Wishing you all the best.
  6. Just caught up with the story, really loving it! Maddox especially is so sweet. Jonathan is awfully prickly when he isn’t supremely horny, for understandable reasons (to a point, but his stubbornness is getting excessive). This story kinda feels like a fantasy world where homophobia is a distant, sorta theoretical concept and all the hottest boys on campus are either gay or at least very accepting. Not that I’m complaining, there are dozens other stories on this site where homophobia is the primary source of conflict, and I don’t mind a simpler and more indulgent romance now and then 😊 STILL! Jonathan is wasting such an amazing opportunity, I hope he can open his eyes and realize it before it’s too late. Wishing you the best and excited for more.

    Chapter 42

I also had a lot of spare time my senior year, but I spent so much of it worrying and couldn’t really enjoy it. I was in the closet and sorta in love with my straight best friend, and ended up choosing a different school than him because I knew it was unhealthy, and because a lot of my other friends were also going. Ironically, I no longer speak to any of them, but I still keep in regular contact with my former crush/best friend. It’s weird how things turn out… It’s really cool of you to respond so thoroughly to your fans, it makes me even more excited to read the continuation. I think some of the negative feedback stems from impatience for more, because as a binge reader myself I didn’t really feel like the story had gone stagnant. You don’t need a major character to get hit by a bus or something just to inject some drama, your characters are loveable and I’m excited to follow their journey. Kind wishes
  8. I’ve only just caught up with this story, binging it over the last week, and didn’t want to leave a trail of comments across the many chapters… but WOW! What a story! Robbie is such a real character, I see so much of him in myself when I was his age. The mood swings and defiance make sense in his situation, but can be a lot to handle. I really liked his detour into straightness, because it reminds me of a confusing time in my own life. It frustrated me to read other commenters not realizing that coming to terms with your sexuality is so rarely a clear cut path (although I agree the graphic straight sex was vaguely off putting to read). I really enjoy the dynamics between Robbie, his siblings and Sue. They are not perfect people, but there is a lot of love there, and their occasional conflict is a great demonstration of how actual families behave. Don on the other hand is a real piece of work - sometimes I am flabbergasted that Robbie doesn’t stand up to him more directly. By the time I was 16, I happily challenged my father verbally or physically, when necessary. In Robbie position I would be rubbing Don’s failing marriage and affairs right in his face, secretly recording him to give Jo ammunition, etc. But then again, as you’ve said, Robbie is a lover not a fighter, and has his own share of daddy issues. I think he’ll likely need to confront those issues some more as he comes to term with the birth of his son. Although there is an ominous air to the current story direction, Robbie has been through hell and high water at this point, and has made some valuable allies. I am excited to see what hurdles he will undoubtedly overcome. kind wishes Dodger, I am excited for an update whenever, and thank you for sharing this incredible marathon of a story with us

    Chapter 42

Really nice story so far. Been off the site for 5 years and yours is the first novel I decided to read coming back - it hasn’t disappointed! Cindy is the worst, as others have stated. My favorite side character is definitely Olivia, she is a wild one. The main boys are very cute, and I envy them for being able to focus less on the future and relish in the moment. When I was in my senior year, I went through a full on breakdown over having to split with my best friends (and ended up choosing a particular college specifically to stay with them - a mistake, by the way). Looking forward to the continuation!
