Comments have covered everything. Like others, I was surprised by how Kyan handled everything. Looking forward to seeing how things continue and what happens in Hawaii.

I was surprised how much Kyan took the lead on this. He didn't have hesitancy for the act itself but he was a little worried about how it would impact Perry. I do not think that worry will last long, once they get on a roll. I was thinking about it, and I think Kyan was taking a leading roll because he lost his wife, and when you lose someone you love, it's easier to throw caution to the wind and live life to the fullest. No regrets

I think she is saying her husband isn't normal because he can stay hard, which, fucking jealous

This is what I'm afraid of.

I want this elusive man.

I agree. The progress was quick. I think Kyan isn't nearly as experienced as we might think.. I also think his lack of experience is enduring and a gift to Perry. How can he not compare himself to his sister? It's impossible. I almost hope him and Dayna had a terrible sex life so Perry can have that since Dayna gave him marriage, and 4 kids. Perry needs something to hang his hat on.

I think heβs surprisingly mature for his age. I think he had to do some growing up real quick, so there are things heβs not current on. He was busy changing diapers and raising kids. The man didnβt know clubs charge an arm in cover charges, but heβs willing to learn and try anything it seems (or so we will find out in the next chapter. Iβm more concerned with Perry. An untouchable dream can be a terrifying reality. Per Jessica, He has a history of running away. IF him and Kyan mess around, it seems likely Perry will freak out

I wondered the same thing. Knowing he may have a story coming up has me reading into everything. Mrs g will give us nuggests if weβre willing to see them.

What a ride ποΈ . once again the comment section pretty much says all that needs to be said. The club experience is the beginning for Kyan. There is a lot to process and I do not believe he will be π― ok with this new normal but I wonder if there is part of his sexuality he has kept under wraps? He was VERY ok and supportive of Perry, and I know that alone doesnβt mean anything, but it could. Pair that super acceptance with the fact he is π― ok with sleeping with Perry all the time, itβs difficult to believe he has never experienced mm attraction before tonight? Maybe he has secretly wanted Perry to roll over at night and make a move. Itβs a very VERY real possibility. Next chapter will be tellingly. Unlike most comments, I think it will go smoothly. I think Kyan is gagging for it. Maybe secretly waiting for it. I have a feeling he is going to go from zero to π π before we know what the hell is happening

Did you wake up asking for violence? lol I think you are on an island alone with that one.
-
Agreed. There is no acceptable talk of Perry being with anyone but Kyan.

Why do I feel like max is going to be freaking awesome and we are going to feel terrible when he gets shoved to the side? There has to be someone he can fall in love with. What about Jesse from Still You Want Me? A great character that got shafted out of love thanks to Charlie? Is Jesse still in Brazil or back in the Portland area?

I completely agree. Life is smooth for Kyan. I think Max needs to shake things up a bit.

Excellent chapter. We see a smooth transition in time. Real life situations boiling over. Kyan has been given a really long leash the last few years and I have a feeling he will be struggling with the new normal. I am not saying Kyan is the golden child but as Dayna's husband and keeper of the children, he has likely been given a little more leniency than the average person.

Hmm this is different. Not my usual, but I'm interested to read more. Excellent writing.

It was Kyan beating the crap out of his tennis racquet that got to me. I could feel every emotion come screaming out of him as he bashed that thing to pieces. F**k. I bet that felt great.

I like where this story is going. I will leave more detailed comments in another chapter or two once I get a feel for what's stewing.

Great first chapter. Definitely looking forward to more. You know how to capture someone's attention.

One of the best authors on this site. A must read for anyone who loves reading a story without being told what is happening. She is the master at building a story and taking turns when you least expect it. This Epic-logue as it has so perfect been deemed, is a perfect example of her abilities. I have fallen in love with Jay and Loren and am very happy with how this series has concluded.

Superb. Well done MrsGnomie. You have a gift that keeps on giving. I hope you feel supported and loved for your contribution for it has given us a lot to look forward to. I'm more of a lurker but I have always appreciated your work and am happy to show my appreciation by leaving comments and reviews. It's really such a small gesture compared to the time and effort it takes for you to knock out an entire story. Thank you again for blessing us.

Yes. Me too. The bummer about heavy chapters like this is that so many good things are easily overshadowed. The rebranding is a huge transformation. From a single person (Loren) to a unit (JL). His social image as taken a 180 and it's a mirrored reflection of his personal transformation. I love it. And I know it's been mentioned in previous comments but Loren creating a kids line and then using that for the trafficking might be the single most touching moment in this chapter. I was on the verge of tears throughout but that moment ruined me. It's monumental in many ways, but mostly, because I know it will change actual lives. The very moment he made that decision, there was a kid being taken, and that kid will be saved. The domino effect...
