Leave it to Jacksons mom to orchestrate having the boys picture taken together with arms around them. They now have a picture of him with his real date for Prom.

You had me worried when you said Aiden and Matt were smiling when he found the bar and gatorade, and again when he gave him his cap and goggles when he forgot them. I was expecting you to have them sabotage Jackson for his big solo. Glad that didn't happen! Very surprised that Cindy put in an appearance. Tension level is rising around her!

It looks like Henry is definitely on their side, and is fighting to let Luke have a so-called "normal" high school senior year. Henry definitely knows what's up with both boys and is encouraging it too. How will Cindy deal with this when the truth finally dawns? Given her rabid personal moral code and conviction that she is always right and others are always wrong I don't think it will go well. She strikes me of one of those rabid sign carrying bible thumpers like Phelps spewing hatred everywhere, and would throw him out.

I like how you have made Luke out to be much more relaxed, comfortable in his own skin, outgoing, and less fearful when they are alone. He isn't afraid to express himself or explore and wants to show Jackson things he never noticed before and aspects of life he may be missing, while learning from Jackson about things he has missed out on.

Cindy is an evil, uptight bitch on a whole...other...level! She needs to be brought down.

Great chapter. Adds more tension to the story, but also explores the evolving relationships between everyone. Luke adds one more typical teenage experience to his list! Still wondering when the pot will boil over and Cindy will get an earful to make her wake up. She's continuing to push her only son away from her with her actions, which will cause her great pain and anguish if she doesn't lose the stick up her ass and start working to recover any semblance of relationship with him.

He finally found the strength to say it! And, a possible scholarship offer as well? Hope that Luke's dad can manage to override Cindy and let the two of them go off to college together.💖

Still lots of twists and turns in this emotional rollercoaster. I love it, Not taking action on those recruitment packages was a serious mistake for Jackson. I can see that he would procrastinate however because of his fear for losing the relationship with Luke. Cindy needs to be dealt with for them to have a future together.

It's funny how calm and self-assured Luke is when he's alone with Jackson, regardless of whatever impending disaster could be on the horizon for him. He's much more resilient than he seems to be when others are around. Cindzilla will be a force majeure to deal with when she clues in, but you've set up Jacksons parents and even Lukes father as strong supporters of both boys. I doubt Lukes dad will allow her to destroy his sons chances at happiness and a future.

I wish they had paintball places like this when I was a kid! Cindy is a nightmare! Whatever her problem is, she needs a good kick in the ass from her husband and her son. It's going to drive her son away or worse.

i like how the friends are onboard looking out for them and trying to help them along. I absolutely love that Jackson took the nudge to initiate a real date for them and was quite surprised by how Luke came out of his shell and became more assertive and expressed his love naturally towards Jackson.

Never apologize for a long chapter. It helps hold the storyline together. It didn't feel long at all. It was great and I really enjoyed reading it!

YAY!!!🥰. You're back!! I was beginning to lose hope that you'd be able to continue the story. It's a great story with strong characters that have depth, and a storyline that is intriguing; complete with romance, sex, mystery and suspense. I love it! Looking forward to reading the continuing adventures of Nic and Jake. For some reason I picture Nic as a younger version of this guy:

Will you write more please? 🥺😭 My thoughts, absolutely not a criticism....There was a huge build up between Asher and Elias and then Poof...not sure where he went. I'm sure that everyone felt that there was a relationship/attachment blooming between the two only to have it unceremoniously end. Asher was devastated. I think we all hoped that Rhett would be the reincarnated Elias, and slowly he would realize it and fall for Asher. All of the focus put on the ring but it never seemed to be explained why Elias made it.

I love this story. Cliff hangers though are not fair😧. You seem to be hinting very heavily that Rhett is the reincarnation of Elias? Rhett's reaction to learning Ashers name was interesting. Asher is not the only one holding something back I think. Please hurry with the next chapter!

I bawled my eyes out reading this. While I'm happy that they learned allot about Elias' past, it breaks my heart to think that Elias may be gone. Please, you can't let it end that way!🥺😭😭

A wonderfully captivating complex love story and journey of self discovery. It doesn't feel finished though. There has to be more to discover and explore about Ridley's budding romance, and his family's collective recovery and reintegration. I hope you will continue?
