It's also very intriguing if the dreaders need human wombs to procreate at all. It's something that tells about their origin: their creation has been based on human existence. They couldn't have come to be through evolution like that. Will the beast in the tower also be a mastermind creator behind them, or will that be someone else, either living or someone from the past, I wonder. This universe is full of questions!

The mystery of the Oblivion victory is one thing, involving a chemical solution to defeating the supernatural. And by having the supernatural defeated by way of chemistry means it’s not really supernatural anymore. At some point, any natural curiosity or technological marvel has seemed like magic. But the question of how might can be permanantly taken away or stolen from a person is another, I’d say an even more existential mystery. Even though it’s been portrayed as something rather a trivial although harsh punishment that isn’t unknown to the contemporary folks. Might thus must also have an elementary explanation of what it really is and how it’s being produced in a person. If it were instead evoked by a person from a separate existence, it was never part of them in the first place and therefore not something that could be taken away.

Wow. I’m so glad I read the story, it became better and better. I have to admit I nearly skipped this in the beginning and at a couple of times, had there not been such a promise in your seemingly effortless writing. The realistic narration suffered from the fact that the protagonist was rather a short man for the big stud he was supposed to be, and as a contrast, his and others’ dicks got bigger and bigger. Sexual fantasy is great but with a little bit less exaggeration and more consistency this story would have been flawless. But the psychologically mature characterisation and the masterful dramatic arc alone makes this story a 5/5 thriller! I’ll certainly read your other stories next. Thank you for this one!

Yeah, we're few. I'm definitely hooked. Too bad I found this already, for now it'll take ages, maybe years, for you to reach the end of your creative flow. There are so many moving parts in the grand scheme of this story it'll take time to weave personality and layers into the characters. Don't make anyone too one-dimensional.

What a grappling story so far, and perhaps not too soapy, despite so many characters, their intertwining stories and surprise revelations. I love a good adventure and I'm glad I stumbled upon this story. Since the world before Oblivion seems to be just like ours --like with the ruined nuclear reactor facility in this chapter-- I've been trying to place the story in the geographical Earth, Eurasia to be more specific, but there are too many inconsistencies for that to work, I guess. It's still tempting to think that something happened that turned this world into what appears as fantasy by adding 'unnatural' elements like magic and creatures, but really isn't fantasy per se. Similar feelings I got from lomax61's Scorched Kingdom series. Completely unrelated to this chapter, it's so good that you've mentioned gyms a few times. In far too many stories, characters are just given, and lack the realism that they usually have worked on becoming what they appear, like the muscular Renn who's also a bully. Maybe the boys, Zdain and Josel will grow during the story and find increased mutual attraction through physical maturation. After all, Josel also seems to be very observant on the physical appearance of some guys, like the big sailor on Princess, and totally green with envy about Renn. Despite some peculiarities in the language, especially at the very beginning of the saga, as a fellow Finn, I wouldn't be able to write something like this in English. And I wouldn't consider myself an ordinary guy if I could!
