Too true it wasn't a happy christmas chapter.... put me in a down mood all day. I read it early in the AM on christmas. I am anxiously awaiting happy resolution to the issues.

LoL I wouldn't mind visiting with you more on this open assistant position you mentioned.... we can discuss what punishments we could all use... Get a whole big pot of them together and just draw one at random when we need to deal out some punishment. I don't think your that old I think this was just a major cliffie even for The Queen Of The Evilest Cliffhangers. So things have been stirred up a bit more than usual. That just has everyone drooling for any little bit of news as to how the story is going to continue. Just the thought of any of the major characters dying in this story is just heartbreaking..... hence the confident thought in my mind *my little happy bubble* that it is just a misreport and it isn't a member of Instinct that has croaked. Hoping its no one but if anyone a member of the Shadows. But to be honest I prefer the no one train of thought.

No I have to say it ends in a cliffie.... the main character is fading to black after being shot 3 count em 3 times in the abdomen and the story ends..... That my friend is a cliffie if I ever read one. Although it was a short story the publics natural reaction is that the guy died but as you mentioned it doesn't say in the story so there is yet hope.... Can you say tense. Definately a cliffie my favorite story writing Goat.... :king: Deny it and the temperature will be turned up a notch or two. :nuke: Ok think its time to hide again.

You must have him really scared since he goes to insane lengths to make sure things aren't considered spoilers when he talks about it. He does such a good job it keeps everything all kinds of confused. Then he goes and says he had clues in the previouse chapters but we just missed them or something. :wacko: Its all fun.... confusing yet fun.

He oughta be we have had him slow roasting for a few days now.... Just wanna make sure he doesn't get dried out.... I would prefer for him to be good and juicey and tender. I will be very happy with a multi-chapter story no matter what person it is in. You are an awsome writer and have a life long fan in me so long as you don't go killing the characters I fall in love with. I have read a couple of stories that the author did that in and it had me in a foul mood for days not to mention it made me cry.... I so hate crying.

LoL poor (roasting) Goat.... In trying to cover his bases he just turns up the heat and gets himself into more trouble in the process. I still love ya CJ even if you are in the mood to kill characters lately. Please please consider the request on the anthology story you posted. They were great characters that developed so fast it made my head spin.

Just a small request.... Would you consider doing a spin off type of series using Jake and Corey (like an alternate continuation if things had gone just a little differently) *begs profusely*.... even though it was a short short story I fell in love with the characters... I believe everyone has a bad boy side to them and those two had the perfect mix. Great job on the story CJ especially if you were drunk when writing it. It may not have been your normal style of writing but it was still excellent.

Maybe he will take pity on us and post it on Monday as a new years eve present. I wouldn't complain if he posted it now to be honest. Just remember to update the Title CJ.

I don't really mind the cliffies... I just like giving the (slow roasting) Goat a hard time about em. I just don't like the IDEA of losing one of INSTINCT. Man car wrecks suck. Where is Graeme.... I could sure use some accupuncture.

I'm looking for a fourth option of slow roasting torture to make the Goat concede and give us happy resolution so we can continue to enjoy the story.
