It was joke that Arch would get because he has read my story and we've exchanged communications; in fact, if you had read his reply to me, you could've figured that out. Instead, you want to use sarcasm towards someone who did to you what you poorly tried doing to me. Your "clarification" wasn't needed, neither is your snark.

Kenny needed to get a jab in, too, I thought. After Bryan being snarky in the beginning, I felt he needed take some jokes this time around.

Well, the dynamics between James and Quinton will probably be explored at another time; however, Kenny is a bit trusting and rather vulnerable, but I don't know about gullible, as there really isn't any evidence of him falling for any pranks or schemes. 🤔 James does ooze charm and charisma (or at least tries to). It's also possible the Bryan was just being possessive or getting jealous regarding Kenny and the twins. Being a lawyer, especially a relatively young one, Billy isn't completely jaded yet when it comes to the legal system, or he's just not showing it. Unless you're an American with their head in the sand, no-one has any real faith in the justice or court system here. There are just way too many cases that show the system doesn't work. It's probably the only thing the vast majority would agree with, regardless of party lines. Judges, like most government officials, do stick together, but their are outliers in every system, so who knows....

I agree that Olivia might be just a friend and that Liam has a secret crush on Mike. There's definitely tension between them that extends beyond being forced to share a room. Mike is too much in his own head to notice any signs from Liam, which is kinda sad. Liam also seems nervous about saying how he really feels but conversely, has no problem being up front (for lack of better phrase) about other things (pressing himself against Mike's groin or commenting about Mike's penis). Hopefully, Olivia will get them on the same page. @Arch Hunter Mike's dad wouldn't be named Calvin, would it? 🤣

A great story so far. I like the tension between Mike and Liam. I feel it's realistic and not forced. There's a lot left open for the plot to explore, like why is Mike's mom in the hospital, why did he have to travel so far away, what's Maggie's connection to his mom, beyond having to share a room, what's Liam's problem? I can't wait to see where all this goes.

I never read Agatha Christie; plus, I was referencing Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, with Sissy, Missy, Krissy and Justice. Not sure if you understood, but I was poking fun at myself for not knowing who the murderer is, but coming up with ridiculous theories.

It was another filler chapter, but one I felt that was needed. There are two more chapters set to release, as well. Chapter 40 will be next Saturday, while 41 will be released two week from tomorrow due to me looking at the wrong calendar when scheduling. Two bodies...Abel died after having sex with Larry and after Harry left. Everyone else woke up with someone else. Barry is now dead of apparent poisoning, something that's usually done by women and rarely men. Jason should know better than to not call for back up, and has beef with Monte. Larry has a wound on his left buttocks and is left handed (that could be a red herring, though). Francis wants to leave immediately, but honestly, who wouldn't? Well, I've seen enough horror movies to know that white people love hanging around when people are dropping like flies. Allowing everyone to shower just contaminates the crime scene further, since someone's shower, especially Larry's, was likely used to drain Abel after his dismemberment. Larry, Harry and Barry...maybe Abel died because he didn't match the rhyming scheme? 🤔 Of course, if I had to put money on it, I'd say that he has a jealous brother named Cain that we haven't heard about yet. And where does that leave Barry in my baseless narrative? 🤫 The plot thickens. 😘
