  1. This story began as a chapter in a series I was writing on nifty.org. At the end of the first chapter, it was apparent that one chapter wouldn't be sufficient to complete the story. As I neared the end of the second chapter, I became attached to the characters and felt since it only marginally fit the overall topic of the series it would be best served as a stand-alone story, which will now contain more than the originally planned one or two chapters. That series was called 'Grocery Store F
  2. I had just finished delivering the last paper on my paper route. Unfortunately, that meant I was as far away from home as I was going to be. I'm Matt Harrison, 14-year-old soon to be freshman. A paper route was the only way I could figure out how to make some money. I think everywhere around here wants you to be 16 or more. My brother's lucky, he gets to work in a nice cool supermarket. Me, I have to ride like 3 miles in the heat. I’m only in my second week and already I’m getting tired of the h
  3. Matt is a young teenager, who with the help of a new friend, discovers a new world of sexual experience. In the process, his life changes in ways he never expected.
  4. Saturday October 22 - Still with Tyler. I'm standing in the middle of a lake. I'm on something like a sand bar. 10 feet away from me in every direction the sand bar disappears and the lake is so deep, I can't see the bottom. I also can't see land in any direction. Rob is standing on top of the water about 100 yards or so away. No, he's hovering above the water. I can't hear him, but it seems he's calling out to me. I know I can't swim that far. I look around, hoping for a piece of driftwood
  5. Missed the question on the Atlantic show wd. Those 3 dates got canceled.
  6. I love the interaction with the readers this site provides. Feedback is so important. Especially good feedback. It feeds the ego and keeps the creative juices flowing.
  7. Geez, I hate it when you guys peek at the next chapter, he he.
  8. Hmmm, bringing Michelle back into the story. Has possibilities. Will definitely consider it wd. As far as checking IDs; wouldn't have mattered, Pete and Ant wouldn't have known the motel clerk's name. If you meant fired from the motel; I assumed it was the owner's policy in a shit-hole to let anybody stay, he'd need all the business he could get. Guy might have got a promotion. 🤑
  9. Saturday October 15 (late) "So, how did your setup go?" "Oh fuck, it was amazing Ant. I guess RB has about 4 reactions when meeting someone new. Worst is he breaks the hold and runs away screaming. As far as I know he only did that once with a druggie. Next is kind of complete indifference. No running, but it's obvious he's not happy. Then, starting with the good reactions, he'll happily shake your hand, maybe even smile at you. I gather Andy got one of these. Then, there's the 'holy s
  10. No worries folks. I'm not going to send Uncle Marco after people who don't comment.
  11. No real research. I worked backwards from getting the band a decent amount of money but not ridiculous. I won’t spoil the return to school for you 😃
  12. I can't take credit for it. I heard it either in a movie or a TV show, can't for the life of me remember where.
  13. Thursday October 13 I call over to Ant's as soon as I get home from school to see if he's home. I'm so fucking happy. He is. "Going to Ant's mom. See you for dinner." She says OK, but I'm already out the door. I'd be flying if I could. Even though I want to get there as soon as I can, I keep close to the speed limit, well, relatively close. I ring the doorbell and Mrs. Rossi lets me in. I say hi, stay there the minimum time that would be considered polite and run up the stairs to
  14. You’ve confused me. Anthony was initially maybe a little mad at Pete, but only Cathy was really mad. I don’t remember anything about Eddie being mad. OK, I get it now, Eddie calling him a fucking asshole at the very beginning. No, nothing here, that will come later.
  15. I just happen to like Whiskey Man better. Neither compare to Fall of the Peacemakers IMO. The rest of the songs are high on my playlist. Any pretend character can be an amazing singer. I hope you like the direction I take them weinerdog.
  16. 😎 I've gotten the 'who said what' comment before. Point taken and will keep that more in mind in the future. Happy Chappies ahead (at least for a little while - life is full of rainy days, it's not always sunny.) 🕶️ 🕶️☔🕶️
  17. Maybe. I have considered giving them another break. I write pretty much stream of consciousness. Lots of times where I think it’s going, it takes a left turn on me.
  18. Wednesday October 5 I'm walking home from school and a car pulls up beside me. "You're Daggett, right?" Not knowing who it is, I'm hesitant to answer. "Who are you?" "Never mind that. Are you Daggett?" "Yeah, why?" "What happened in that warehouse?" "What?" "You were there before my sons died. What happened?" "Mr. Turner? I wasn't there. But I heard about it. I'm sorry for your loss, er, losses." "I was told you were there because they were

    Epilogue

Good story. Had a lot of emotion in it. Laughter, sadness, anger (at the psycho with 2 names). On to another of your stories. Great job Andy. LRW
  20. Andy, you are the Chubby Checker of gayauthors.org. Seems like every chapter it's 'Let's Twist Again.'
  21. Throwing twists like this into a story is awesome. I also like having something happen that nobody expects. I was actually planning a real sick twist for my next chapter even before reading this one. I'm looking forward to writing chapter 8. LRW
  22. Maddox is like a bad penny. He keeps turning up. He needs to be put in one of those machines that stretch the penny and imprint an image on it. I have the perfect image too - a Jackass. Glad Levie pulled through, but he had to right? Would have been a short story if not. LRW
  23. New to the site and story, but yeah, Maddox is a psychopath. Or is that sociopath? Either way, a nutcase who makes it hard to not look ahead. Fortunately, unlike a book, one can't cheat as easily and skip to the next page. LRW
  24. @canopus - Interesting. The sites I searched didn’t mention that. I’ll have to dig some more and possibly make an update. Or just ‘fake it’ next time.
  25. Wednesday September 21 Time goes by slowly when you're lying in a hospital bed without a whole lot to do. Mom brought me a couple books, but that gets boring after a while. I've been trying to write some lyrics, but everything is coming out dark. No surprise there, I guess. I don't know which emotion is strongest in my mind right now. Hate? Yeah, that's up there. If I ever find out who did this to me, I'd love to return the favor. Depression? Yep, got that too. Maybe I should write a song -
