  1. An interesting story even though some things didn’t seem to add up in the end. Worth a read, maybe you’ll see through what I thought were holes.

    Chapter 1

She didn’t know he was in the house? How would he experience her meltdowns if he wasn’t right there to see them? She didn’t question the attic door, in her own house, being locked? Interesting story, just didn’t add up for me.
  3. All I know about the king of Spain is it isn’t Cory Wells, as he’d “Never Been to Spain.”
  4. An interesting little story, could have been penned by Rod Serling. Have a read!

    Chapter 1

Definitely thought of “What You Need” on this one. I could use a genie like that, although I’m not sure I’d like what I need.
  6. Then don’t read mine first. It’s definitely light and fluffy. Oops, did I say that?
  7. Thanks much. I’m happy it’s being appreciated.
  8. I said I’d review them all, 5 stars are for the effort, but I feel like Tom Hanks in “Big,” when they’re demonstrating the new toy. I don’t get it. Try it for yourself, maybe I’m just dense. I’ve never understood time shift movies, so maybe this is the same. I mean other people like Memento and that one with the bunny…

    Chapter 1

Um, OK. I think I need to come back after the author is named so I can ask him WTF was that?
  10. An interesting little story. The forbidden knowledge is withheld from the main character, Matthew, until near the end. I didn’t expect exactly what happened. Give it a shot!

    Chapter 1

I’m kind of curious. When I was a kid, we had a fig tree in our back yard. It never got bigger than like a foot and a half or two feet. It made me think maybe the characters are faeries. I guess it’s possible.
  12. I wouldn’t have thought that way. But then, regardless of genre, I’ll read them all. Review them all, too. It wouldn’t do to leave one without a review, giving away which is mine. Oh, wait, did I enter one? Maybe I’ll leave one without a review to throw the dogs off the scent.
  13. An interesting take on the topic. You’ll have to read it to see what I mean.

  14. A nice little story, even if, unlike the narrator, you’re not much of a history buff.

    Chapter 1

I felt it was a dog as well. Either works though. Another short and sweet one.

    Chapter 1

Talking about Jake, as Bugs Bunny would say, “What a maroon.” Shoulda kept his mouth shut. Or, his fingers, still.
  17. And if you read them least words to most, you’ll be halfway done by the time you reach the first 5000 word one. That’s usually my tactic on these.
  18. Short and sweet. But you’ll need to read it to be just as surprised as Noah.

    Chapter 1

Short, sweet, and probably not a highly suspected reason.
  20. Cool, but not cool for me. Just started a new job, less time on GA for me. I might get through them all by Labor Day 😃
  21. Glad you liked it.
  22. Thanks. Hope so!

    Chapter 4

    Laughter is good.
  24. You’re welcome and I’m happy I didn’t bomb out completely.
  25. 'No, daddy, no. Stop. It hurts. It HUUUUURTS!' 'BANG!' My eyes flew open from the dream. It seemed more real every time. I looked around. Hospital. Right. A woman that I barely know. Laurie. My mother, was sitting next to the bed. "Did I scream?" "No, just a loud moan. The dream again?" I realized for the first time it wasn't just a dream. It was a memory. "No. A memory. You shot dad because he was..." "Shhhh. Don't worry about that now. You need to rest from t
