  1. Welcome to Wilson world. If I’m reading this right, I’ll say that his closet is only large enough for one 14-year-old boy.
  2. Thanks. But not finding his real dad would take the story in another direction. That’s a whole different story. Hmmm, I wonder…
  3. Thanks. Maybe.
  4. Oh, step-dad will indeed get a visit, I’m not sure yet what will be the trigger.
  5. Tuesday If dad joined the army, he could be living anywhere. Using clues from LinkedIn and Facebook, I knew I had to start with the one Anthony Greiss I found and try to contact him. He was from Boston, so it seemed kind of promising. In the guy’s photo, he looked about the right age. I agonized over the message for a lot longer than I figured to, but I think I got it short enough and to the point. ‘Hello Anthony. My name is Kurtis West. I’m looking for an old friend from Maine and am
  6. I know you got mine wrong.

    Chapter 1

Remembering anything after a drunken night/knight is a challenge at best, and perhaps even impossible. But you mis-remember, you spent the night cooking sans pants and yakked about cooking the whole/hole time/thyme.

    Chapter 1

Very possible; annoying Jason that it’s. But as good an idea, this one has way more cooking details than I could ever come up with. If you can’t nuke it, there are very few meals I can pull off.
  9. Neither have I. Fifteen times, maybe. Not once.
  10. Hell, write it? I’m not even sure I fully understood it.
  11. Not sure I can add much to the other reviews except to say, weird! But, hey, I gave it a shot, you should too.

    Chapter 1

This is the second story in this year’s event that left me wishing the was a WTF emoji. How nine people so far thought I could write this is astounding. Maybe because it just screams for a sequel and of my first two SA entries, one started a series, and the other took 11 more chapters to complete. What are tamarind and cardamon/cardamom anyway? Aside from some kind of spice?
  13. If you say so. I will admit that since the stories have been posted, that is one of the 3 I haven’t read yet. But, did I read it before they were posted? Hmmm. Actually, before the author list was posted, I had that one down as yours.
  14. I just looked at the guesses so far, 5 of the 9 have me down for Sweet Sour Paradox Logic. So that must be right. But is it? All 9 picked the wrong author for mine with 6 different authors. Five more days to see if I’ve fooled everybody. I hope that’s not too many clues to figure me out.
  15. Keep wondering, hehe, nothing like that is expected, but Dummy won’t get off scot free. Thanks
  16. As did I, obviously.
  17. They’re zero for on mine as well.
  18. Me neither.
  19. What? The author couldn’t have fingered her themselves?
  20. Same. I’ll gladly take credit for any that people think are good. That probably doesn’t include my own; being good that is. I’ll still admit to it next Monday.
  21. That’s three more than I had, and one was my own. But of course, I purposely guessed wrong on that one. Or did I?
  22. An interesting story without drugs, sex, or rock and roll. It covers a portion of the lifetime of Benny, and his visits with a great aunt. It gets emotional, but not overly so. A good read.

    Chapter 1

A touching story. Like all the rest, I have no clue who the writer is, but well done, SA.
  24. Then you got them both wrong.
  25. I said it was happy? Must have been a misdirection.
