I hesitated reading this one because I didn’t think I was going to like the topic. So, don’t let that stop you from reading it either. The first two chapters are mostly setup. But after that it’s a “hold on to your hats, this going to be one hell of a ride.”
So, get off the title page and start reading, you’ll be glad you did. I know I am.
Wow, first. Thought about using the sad emoji. Because it’s over, but changed my mind. I guess I just have to wait to see if you change your mind about books 2 and 3. You mentioned a possible epilogue, if it’s not going to happen, you should mark this one complete.
Even though I was hesitant to start this one, I’m glad I did.
I don’t like blue cheese or ranch dressing, but even if I did, I’d never dip my wings in them. Same reason I don’t put any kind of sauce on my steak. If it’s cooked right, it doesn’t need it.
I’m glad Sean got rescued. But, even speaking Japanese, he would have recognized his voice. On that same vein, why didn’t Gabriel recognize the voice in the amusement park as the guy he conversed with over the back end of a corvette?
I’ll steal a line from a Twilight Zone episode: “You’re a bad man. A very bad man.”
Fake homeland guys kidnapping Sean? Not cool. Not cool at all.
Okay; great twist.
I’m guessing the Senator sits at the back of the box and foils the killer because he’s so high and close, and the angle is wrong. By the time the killer sets up further away where he can see the whole box, the Senator left because he hadn’t planned on staying for the whole concert.
Besides, he’s only a fan of the opening act, heehee.
I didn’t spot it on the first read through, but then I had forgotten you mentioned that. I’d have to read it again. Maybe I will, maybe I won’t. You’ll know if I do because I’ll answer your comment again.
I believe he was because you simply stated that the thug checked his pulse. Never said what the outcome was. Everybody else seemed to think he was dead. I don’t like to be like everyone else.
Option E, none of the above. The government cloned Gabriel once they saw how useful he was. The clone has his memories so it was easy to figure out everything about him.
Now I’m off to see how I did.
All this assuming Scott is dead. Jason wrote that the man checked for a pulse. Never said there was or wasn’t one. I for one will believe he’s only knocked out until I see otherwise.
I encounter the adding things all the time. I can’t say how many times I’ve had to change a chapter title because I didn’t get to everything I thought I would before I started it.
I guess the date will wait.
Whew. It’s a good thing 50% sex maximum is a story rule, not a chapter. Oh, wait, is it?
Lonnie could be in serious trouble if he leaves traces behind for Scott to find.
