I think you have hit a key question about the impact of becoming known as gay actors, @akascrubber. Of course, Sky has always been out during his career but is not very well known at this point. With the radically higher visibility brought to him through this film, there may be more and bigger reactions both positive and negative to him. For Brant it will be a huge deal if/when he becomes known as a gay man. I cannot think of another comparable coming out in Hollywood.

Thank you, @dboggs9700. I'm glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for saying so and for the comment about the photos. I'm so glad you discovered my work!

After David called, “Cut!” I was suddenly overcome with an unholy mix of embarrassment and pride as I realized we’d had an audience of four as Brant and I had taken our relationship to the next level, no matter what our relationship actually was. With a huge grin on his face, Rachoud stepped up beside us with a couple of terrycloth robes across his arm. He opened one to shield Brant from everyone’s eyes as he withdrew from me. Brant backed out with a faint plopping sound and slipped his a

Monday, Brant and I rehearsed our big finale, which (spoiler alert!) is Marty and Aaron safely home after the mobster has been killed. Back in their apartment after several months away, Aaron makes a celebratory dinner, which they eat on the balcony with the great view of the Hollywood Hills, including the iconic Hollywood sign. This is a big romantic scene and Marty tells Aaron how much he loves him and also how much he respects him for what he has done to get them through this terrifying tim

Haha! I promise no Village People stuff, although I confess I was a fan. I believe they didn't hit it until about 1979. The story runs until then, but I wasn't focusing much on music, so you are safe!

Thanks, @dboggs9700. At this point, Jody is just getting started with his sexy life at the university and on the team. What a team, huh! I'm glad you are enjoying the characters. They were a lot of fun to write and try to give backstories and personalities and sexual preferences to. Loved it!

When we entered the living room after the BJ, the mortified look on Dad’s face and the cat calls, whoops, and applause from the others in the room made it clear everyone knew what had happened in the bedroom. I’m sure I was as red-faced as Brant, but we gamely endured the heckling. In the middle of the ovation, Brant took my hand and led me in a bow. When the noise died down, he announced, “There will be no curtain call tonight,” which reanimated our audience for a couple of minutes. I w

Hi, @Albert1434. Thank you for sharing these poems of a cowboy's lonely life. I felt the deep loneliness when the cowboy chose the higher fatal path and again when the cowboy turned away from the piano player. I think the solitary life sometimes made them so isolated from other humans they lost their ability to understand relationships and the energy needed to start one or deal with the difficult. I think he chose to leave the bar rather than fight for his guy because he simply didn't know what to do except maybe shoot them. But he knew that wouldn't gain him anything. The freedom to chose your path with no one else in mind is a seductive pull on a man's heart. But if you choose too much freedom are you losing part of what makes you human? Thanks for bringing these thoughts to my mind with your lovely words, Albert!

Thank you very much @dboggs9700! I see you are going for the shorter ones first -- good idea! I hope you will enjoy the 3 high school swimmers and the college baseball player and the long COVID story. I'm currently uploading Role of a Lifetime, which might be my favorite but we are several weeks away from the conclusion. It's nearly 40 chapters so you might want to wait before starting on that one. It's always wonderful to have a new "fan" so thanks for reaching out! Cheers! Ken

@dboggs9700, thank you for reading this story and for commenting. I love this story and always enjoy knowing that someone else likes it. I'm sorry so many pictures are missing. I tried using AI to generate pictures here but they seem to disappear after some months. Some day I will go back through the story and try to add good photos back in. But, again, thanks for reactions and comments. They mean so much! Ken

When I arrived at Brant Kimber’s apartment a few minutes before 8 Friday morning, the door to the apartment was propped open while two lighting techs were moving some light poles and carrying cases through. I waited for them to clear the foyer and then walked into the living room, careful to keep my 6-feet social distancing from everyone. David Dawson saw me and waved me into the hallway that leads to Brant’s room. Ensconced in the master bathroom, the handsome Rachoud was applying make-u

On Wednesday, we rehearsed the first of our three big scenes set in the apartment. In this one, we have sex in the shower before Marty sees the execution. We stripped down to our briefs and rehearsed without the water on. This is the first scene in the chronology of the movie, which will probably get the movie off to a real sexy start. Brant warmed to the idea of being the dominant partner, pushing down on my shoulders to drive me to my knees and then pulling me up so he could spin

I am chuckling to myself, @Modified Cub, because I think the same thing. I'd love to be able to see this movie with these two hot stars. I think it would beat out Brokeback Mountain and Call Me By Your Name. (Not so sure it could beat Heated Rivalry, though.)

We had a table read on Zoom the following week. There was David, the director, his assistant Tammy (a cute young lady I had not met before), Brant, me, Brodie, Michael Ricci, and his son Richard. Not present was Anthony Ricci, who would be on screen only a few seconds as he gets rubbed out by Richard’s shot to the back of his head. The table read was very interesting and exciting. The plot and the script really came alive as the various actors read their lines. The next day, a clinic ca

At breakfast the morning after the Marilyn movie, I asked if there were any objections to me inviting Brant to dinner that evening so he could join us for the first couple of episodes of The Olympians. As expected, Mom and Dad were both keen on the idea saying they would love to see him again. Truth be told, we were having a good time together on lockdown, but we all felt the need to see and interact with someone different from the family. Brant, of course, had no plans for the evening so

The next afternoon I was again studying for the upcoming psych test I have to take online by Friday. Part of me loves not having to sit in uncomfortable chairs listening to bored assistant professors while wishing I was lost on a nude beach somewhere. Part of me misses the special attention I get from the girls and quite a few of the guys just being out in public. I wonder if that will change a lot after Laying Low comes out. My cell sounded, interrupting my reverie, so I dropped the boo

@J J, just so you know, I curate photos from the internet to "flesh out" my stories. It's great fun and sometimes pretty challenging. Anyhow, if you want more of Brant, Google Paul Francis. He's an American model. Sky is "played" by Levi Poulter (who can also be found on PornHub) and Brodie is "played" by Chris Bailey. I hope you find the photos fun and often stimulating! Ken

Brant and I talked for several hours about the script over the next couple of days. We even ran some lines together over the phone and dissected what the lovers were experiencing during a lot of the scenes. We also spent several hours one afternoon building our characters’ backstories and helping Brant become more accustomed to what motivates gay men. I couldn’t help but fantasize that Brant would someday say he owed the Oscar to me because I taught him what he needed to know about gay me

Hi @J J! These days I would love to be in Canada, but alas I am in Texas. I did visit BC and Yukon last summer and had a lovely time. We celebrated Canada Day in Dawson City -- how cool was that?

The next month was full publicity for Royal Sex Wars, so Brant was very busy. For our production, we were in the lull between casting and filming, so there was nothing for us to do there. The sum total of our interactions was through texting and email, which frustrated me a bit because I was completely enamored by him. Fortunately, he was all over TV, the internet, and print media promoting Royal Sex Wars, as well as being interviewed about Conquering Heaven, which was still showing at the Me

I got the part! My agent Joan called me that afternoon to tell me she had negotiated a good salary package and some extras and that I would receive the final script around May 1. I was to block my calendar for all of June and July for filming at some location in Northern California. I was expected to participate fully in appearances as requested from August through the following June. The movie was scheduled to be released at Sundance in January 2021. Needless to say, this was all very

It wasn’t until I arrived for the second callback for the little independent gay film that unusual things really began happening. After I had signed a non-disclosure agreement that forbade me from discussing the movie or who would be involved in the movie including the other actor’s identity, I was ushered into a room in which several directors and producers or whatever sat at a table and the heart-stopping Brant Kimber (pictured) sat off to the side on a sofa. Oh my God! Who would have though

Sky is a young actor, son of two of Hollywood's finest and most respected television stars, and an out gay man with a few small roles to start his career. When he auditions for a small indie film, he learns his co-star would be the hottest up-and-coming male star of the year: Brant Kimber. Sky is auditioning for the role of Brant's gay lover, but Brant is quite heterosexual. Sky can barely imagine filming sex scenes with this masculine sex-symbol but he is also very excited about the opportunity. The role would be the best one he has had so far and extremely exciting. Will Sky land The Role of a Lifetime? What will happen if he does?

Upon entering the room, I was introduced to Brant as a possible “Aaron” for Laying Low. He rose from the sofa, stepped up to me, gave me a thousand-watt smile, and took my hand. He was an inch or so shorter than me, but held my gaze. He didn’t shake my hand, but just held it gently for a few seconds before speaking. “I’ve really been looking forward to meeting you, Sky,” he said in his sultry voice. Still holding my hand, he turned to face the seated panel and moved until our sh
