1. Great story, well told. 2. If the letter, rather than the spirit of the 2nd amendment was followed, then any gun owner would have to be a member of a government recognised militia. 3 I suspect Raven1 meant disenchanted, rather than disfranchised (unless American English/Grammar has diverged radically from the English varient!)

An excellent series of stories. With a soft pedal on the boy sex (but you probably wouldnt want that) I could easily see this being in Analog or Fantasy and Science Fiction.

An excellent start to an interesting story! One tiny quibble, unless American English is rather different to English English, I think the line should read "the anticipation was palpable as the gathered crowd........"

I have in the past enjoyed this author's stories, however I was only able to read the first few paragraphs of this without wanting to throw up. Death of a homosexual by a bunch of religious sadistic, sodamistic zealots is not something I find in the least entertaining!
