Please explain this sentence. I am confused. What exactly did Ian plan? This wasn’t what he had planned, Alex putting Gael on a leash. -
Wow, wow, wow. Still trying to wrap my head around the fact that you’ve seemingly ended this amazing tale with someone being castrated. I do hope more (and continuing) stories are in the works.

Simply another wow as I reach for yet more Kleenex. Life has been a roller coaster the last couple weeks — living in a former crime scene, family house in LA burned to the ground, best friend undergoing heart surgery — yet, somehow this harrowing tale comforts in an odd way. Again you live up to your handle @empath!

Dear @Philippe, while your summation of the chapter is thorough, would you please correct the misspelling of Oliver’s nickname. A grave injustice to the author and the incredible character he has created.

As a 20 year Marine Corps brat, I get it. And understand the wherewithal of getting things going. Kudos. And know the emotional aftermath. Many years of therapy have helped me understand who I am and especially how I handle difficult or uncomfortable situations. You have truly touched the “raw.”

@empath your moniker fits you and your writing well. While difficult to read at times, the story line, the heartbreaking and heroic characters, the anticipation all keep me glued to the screen. Thank you for this difficult and incredible story.

Gee my home is only 200 years old here in New Orleans. Got the roof and exterior waterproofing done. Now to repair the interiors. 5 years in the works.

Jason’s line to Tim: ‘Is that him?’ he whispered to me, then tried to run away from me. What a wonder it would have been to have such a prescient younger brother. I was the oldest, and my two younger brothers were brats. Not to mention my sister being a bitch. She had figured it out! Ah, siblings.
