I think it's safe to assume already Jake's request for this meeting was a desperate try to do something, seeing his brother suffer for sure is not easy. But this evening did something. It brought Finley closer to this group, closer to Emmett. Enforcing what he felt already the week before, that they like him, Finley, not the dragon-soldier. After the way he grew up- surrounded by his huge dragonfamily, military academy- and then the service itself, it for sure has a sort of therapeutic effect. Because running away like he did is not the solution either. Thank you!

After a while of relaxed chatting about this and that, later accompanied by pizzas, the mood was pretty good. At least the mood of the others. Emmett and Dex were dating, before Dex got called away. But yes, Emmett would like to deepen the dating into a real relationship. Emmett has healing abilities, which he uses for the healing potions they give with the tattoos in the parlor, and a calming ability Thank you!

A fine drizzle hung in the air like a thin veil. I looked outside and would have loved to go out too, running wild and free, but I couldn't at the moment. Instead, I sat at the counter while Tony inked a tattoo, researching for an ink for Travis' tattoo. My phone was buzzing - it was doing so almost non-stop that early afternoon. I stood firm and ignored it, but then looked up when the door opened. Finley entered, a basket of flowers under his arm, and pulled a very strange face.

You are absolutely right and their meeting will not go as Jake hopes, or at least not in the way we interprete his hopes. Emmett's tattoos are for a lot of things, surpressing his instinctal fears, supporting his magical abilities etc... Thank you! It is and next chapter we will see another reason for that Thank you!

Again, I could taste Emmett's slight anxiety as I sat down. The Tempest was packed with people, but I couldn't help but think that it was because of me. He was fully aware that I was dangerous, and now we would be sitting across from each other for hours. I averted my eyes and instead briefly eyed the others. Jake was as dark-skinned as Mike was pale and blond, Ben seemed to have a Latino influence, and Mo was probably short for Mohammed, because his face clearly had Arab features. But

You're absolutely right on the first part. Especially if you're a shy/silent type. Yes. Emmett and his uncle had their reasons to leave the coven, apart from "being the outsider-gay" and "wants to use his rare talent better". We will hear a bit more about those friends And if you tell me if there is someone in particular interesting you, I can work it into the story I have only one small tattoo and it was painful as hell and told myself never again. But this magical possibilities... oh boy, yes, I take some! Thank you!

Actually, I had expected the warning tingle at the nape which had made me leave the tattoo parlor rather abruptly yesterday to return. Instead, it began to tingle in my stomach. White cuffs and an equally dazzling white shirt collar peeked out from under Emmett's light blue sweater, accentuating the blue percentage in his eyes. And his eyes... They were rimmed with mascara and kohl, his lids glittered a little, and if I wasn't mistaken, he was wearing skin-colored lipstick. Holy shit.

The taste of Emmett's fear stuck in the back of my throat until I brushed my teeth with special toothpaste in the evening. Everything in Emmett urges him to run away from Finley, who radiates danger. After a few encounters, however, when his healing nature takes over and tries to put a smile on the face of the constantly sad Finley, the question of what Finley actually is becomes more pressing, cause being in danger is the last thing he needs. Fin tries rather unsuccessfully to run away from himself, with nowhere holding him for long. But Emmett's bright smile and strange blue-violet eyes intrigue him more than a little. Now if he only knew what exactly Emmett actually is, he might be able to deal with his strange-behaving dragon-side.
