I just realized that @Ronyx also posts his stories here. I sent my feedback to him with email after reading chapter 12, and I think I can also share some of them here. This story, I believe, resonate with a lot of people. I know I am resonated strongly by it. I'm still in the closet in my real life, but I'm happy to see young gay people get more accepted in these days. Just one hour ago before reading this chapter 12, I saw a young man I know directly come out in his post on his Facebook, complaining that he asked a young male doctor out but was being blocked on IG. I don't know if he has ever come out in his life circle. Maybe he's always openly gay, but at least not to my knowledge since we're not that familiar. He was a student in a university when we met. I was an external lecturer in a few of his classes that time. But seeing them talking about it freely and openly I still feel happy for them, and actually very envious.

Haha, I love to see authors referencing their own writings in their other stories. I've read a few like that and it's always fun. :-D

I doubt it... given the Calvin Johnson Sr's situation... But I love this idea.

I love the court mystery novels like Donald Lam and Bertha Cool Mystery. In that series, there are plenty situation like that: Donald did something without telling his clients why because he didn't want the court think his client is accomplice or accessory after the fact (I don't know the exact law terms since I read translated version)

Right. This is also what I thought. Bryan's issue here is the preferences of the things. What Diego and Steve tries to tell him is that he broke Caleb's trust., but to Bryan, being taken away from Diego and Steve is a more serious issues than breaking Caleb's trust. To him, Caleb's issue is "amendable", "hopefully". I can't really blame Bryan's logic. And this time Bryan "took the consequence" actively, which is telling Diego and Steve that he still didn't think he's wrong. I think Diego and Steve need to use another way to approach this issue, not the way they're doing now.

Ah, John (either one in the story or in the real life) warned me about a chapter full of "meta humor" since I told him I'm not a native English speaker and didn't understand what meta jokes means and, an (also a Nifty author) friend told me what that means. I guess this is the chapter. But... yeah, I laugh out loudly. You succeeded, John.

What I saw here is... James is really a careful and insightful boy. His age is not far from Bryan (8th graders?) and is really getting to know Bryan for only a few weeks, but he already sees Bryan's real issues there. Knowing Bryan's issue with his sperm donor may help, yes, but I guess more than half of early teenagers like James would only see Bryan's insecurities but not able to connect it to his issues with his sperm donor.

Um... “Do you think you'll be okay living there without Billy?” --> I guess, here it should be "without Bryan"?

In fact... though I'm nearly 20 chapters behind, I always feel dread when reading good chapter like this, because there may be big even tragic drama after that. Kind of PTSD I guess, for reading dramatic stories before...
