Fortunately I still re-read Thicker Than Water when posting on Nifty so I know the sequel will be posted soon. Well, since GA doesn't allow Only The Beginning, you may consider posting it on AO3 ( https://archiveofourown.org/ ) which is also able to leave comments and allows you to communicate with us readers. The only limitation on AO3 I know is that, you can't put any link regarding your own "money collection" (sponsorship, donation, like BuyMeACoffee or Patreon, etc).

Young-friends section was removed in the new site. Adult-youth also. They "promised" to keep the old site "in the foreseeable future" but who knows what that means. My problem (and I guess it's many other Nifty readers' problems too) is that all we can see is a story title, no other information unless we click into the story and see who the author is (and sometimes if it is in HTML format, there won't be any author information at all.) So when you post a new story there, unless we have other ways to know it is your story, it is likely to be missed. Nifty (the old site) is not very restrict, but they did remove stories if they got complaints (and usually wouldn't investigate or verify before removing). So I stopped posting there a long time ago (but I still appreciate them for providing a space like that). Another place which is even more open is PZA stories (https://pza.dk) they accept many more different genres of boy stories, including some very dark and extreme (death) contents. But they will edit the story in their way before posting on the site (and it would usually take a long time). As for the new Nifty site... sigh, I don't want to talk about it anymore. Thanks for the info.

You can't and don't have to please everyone. Posting on Nifty has a disadvantage... I won't be able to know which story is yours, unless I keep clicking into every story... especially I don't visit their new site often (due to some sections I like to read being removed). Will readers get a notification (like an email) in any way? If the content is not suitable here, I guess it won't be in Nifty new site either.

Chapter 10 - Forgiveness
Johnny Kape commented on Jeff Burton's story chapter in Chapter 10 - Forgiveness
Being at least a week without any brain activity... it needs miracle I think, and this miracle can only be given by the author -
Chapter 9 - Sacrifice of Angels
Johnny Kape commented on Jeff Burton's story chapter in Chapter 9 - Sacrifice of Angels
Sigh. I know life is simply not that way, just that, life has been miserable enough and reading is an escape. Why experience the same misery even in reading? Dramatic, okay. Hurt, okay. As long as things get fixed, settled in the end. Death? That's not reversible. -
Chapter 9 - Sacrifice of Angels
Johnny Kape commented on Jeff Burton's story chapter in Chapter 9 - Sacrifice of Angels
I feel exactly the same. I fuxxing hate reading fuxxing tragedies like this and may quit reading if the author don't fix everything including Chirs in the next chapter (and why the emoticons in GA's comments even don't have a crying face? ) -
Chapter 6 - A Good Day
Johnny Kape commented on Jeff Burton's story chapter in Chapter 6 - A Good Day
Oh, wow. I read it on Nifty, and just made sure that I sent my feedback to you more than a year ago So I'm surprised and happy to see this story going back to Nifty. Well, I've forgot what it was telling, so I went back to re-read chapter 5 again to let the memory come back. Reading the above comments I just realize that there are other stories going on. I'll read them some time soon. And - please keep writing. I'm looking forward to seeing how Nate, Corey, and/or even Max will be going. -
I don't know how, but I hope somehow real Bryan and Caleb will end up being with you, ditching their sperm donor!

Great story! I hope I will be lucky like Phil when I'm that age… He gets a good huge extended family. Really wonderful. Thanks @Ronyx for writing this story!

That's it!! It won't be a John Henry story without meta jokes in the last chapter!! Love the story. Thanks for bringing the amazing story to us.

Happy ending... with a heart-attack at the chapter beginning!!!!! I blurted out "Fxxk" when reading "nightmare". It is the third time I was fooled by a dream in a story in a few weeks. It's a great story. But... Is it end? Or there is some "epilogue"? There seems to be some loose ends not being tied.

Caleb... wow. Just, wow. And finally, the title, Thicker Than Water, shows. That's the main theme of this story. Billy really gave a great speech. I think it should be "this" car?

Eh, I agreed with you to some extents, about Roger being a real homophobe and may never forgive Phil, whatever the reason is. But the suggestion… No idea why, but it made me laugh out loud. I don't really hope things go south like that, but maybe I feel the suggestion really funny.

I love how the story goes. It looks like things are looking up for Phil! I hope he can reunite(?) with his grandson, lives with Susan and Stanley, has Gary as his partner, and Colin and Jason as his extended family! (So please don't tell me there are more tragic dramas...)

I'm totally lost... I guess the italic words are all song names?

I was confused here. I'm not familiar with the court thing. Here it should be Billy asking Ashley right? Can he "object" Ashley's answer? I thought it should be the lawyer of the opposite side calling object.

Steve? I admit that I didn't think of that. I just assumed, from how all the authors liked to put dramas in their stories, it was Kenny who opened the door. Taking the time into accounting (since Bryan and James skipped the school, it might not be that late for Kenny to go to the Padilla house), it was probably more reasonable that Diego opened the door.

Ugh… if Bryan and Kenny's relationship hasn't broken yet, it surely shreds totally this time The "inheritance" is clear now. But if Ashley can't get the money, it will go to a rehab that tortured Luis and Charlie before… A dilemma now! BTW… “Yes, Sir,” Ashley said, her smug attitude → Seems something missed after this. “He's money for the bus and to order a pizza. → Should be "Here's" I guess.

I don't know how to describe my feelings about this story yet. The MC boy, Blue, made my heart broke. Seems like he had pretty big traumas in the past... My son has serious emotional disorder too, so to some degree, I can relate to Blue's mom. Sometimes really feel helpless, seeing our kids explode, or even dissociate, but there was nothing we could do. Our therapist is amazing too, helped him quite a bit in the first few years, but the marginal effect was decreasing as time went by. It's good to know that Lorraine seems really to be able to help him. I hope at the end of the story Blue can get over the trauma, even just a little bit, and find an amazing boyfriend. Maybe Emmerson?

I do hope that Phil will show his regret and apologies to Roger. No matter Roger wanted to accept or not, it will help Phil move on. Trust me, I know the feeling about my son hating me...

Remember Colin is BB and Jason is BBB They have their own house. So I think it will be Phil living with Susan and Stanley. But Colin and Jason can come visit often. They will be a great role model for Stanley, and I believe Colin will have a huge affection on Stanley. My true story: my younger son didn't know what he wants to do or to major in all his high school years, but a few months ago he suddenly asked me to arrange a session with our clinical psychologist, who has consulted us (including my older son, my younger son and myself) for more than 10 years. I wondered what happened in his school, but still arranged it. After the session the psychologist told me that my younger son decided to be a clinical psychologist like him so this session was about to ask him what he needed to know and to prepare for the college entrance application. This summer my younger son is admitted into a college he wants, majoring in psychology. I guess it never occurs to me how our psychology affected him.

I knew it!! It isn't that secret anyway, but still. Now I want to know how Ashley would face perjury since Caleb testified against her testimony!!

I love this part... when Diego started to "awaken" that he would like to be a dad. It's so sweet. Even Calvin is a trash, he brought Diego and the boys together.
