    I was back in my cubbyhole quarters working on my plans when I got the Link notification that my parents had returned to the station. I smiled as I hopped up to head next door to talk to them.     True, but us northerners coined the term snowbirds… where we head south to sip our whisky on the beach while others shovel😀 Also on a side note. Had some friends move down to Virginia about 12 years ago. Never met a Virginian. Everyone was from a northern state in there housing development. Must be good Ice Tea?!

    We were all up early and Eric’s staff had breakfast ready for us at 7 am. Eric was engrossed in his Singapore reports as Quinn read over the last of the information we had on the rig and its condition.     I worked over the probe reports sent over by the Mining Boss as I kept a watchful eye on the course track and the autopilot. Tom was down in Engineering with Seiko while Rachel and Brandon were sacked out to rest up for the night watch. Tom would head that way too once Seiko was cleared to handle engineering alone.
