Thanks for the comment ReaderPaul! Slightly higher grade than a military implant. Also invading one's implant is considered like rape. Punishable by the law and highly discouraged. Most implants have safety features against just such an invasion. The implant also has to be active to be invaded. Since it is off most of the time, it wouldn't be easy to do.

Mini Borer was crossing the threshold on Monday morning with another good haul from our three days of mining. Thanks for the comment Cane23! No. Not ridicules at all. Sex life, stamina...not the passion unfortunately, when I was in the Navy. Out until 2am, up at 4 am for work, back out at 7 pm to return at 2 am. Rinse and repeat. Wasn't even tired after doing that for four days.😇 Living life vicariously through the fictional characters and memories. Yet... Most of my characters are based on real people from my past. The muses for Orion and Quinn are still happily together after 39, might be 41 years now.

Where it goes from there is up in the air. May or may not come up later. Technically, Marc has to be 16 and his mother would prefer he was 18 for an implant. What was given to him was top of the line, call it a 10 out of 1-10 rating scale. Where the twin's implants were a 3 or 4. Since Aunt Gloria is the resident spook, she would be the one to question. And like any teenager. Marc doesn't want his parents into everything he does. As far as CONFED Intelligence goes. Alexander Industrials is the producer of the Mimic Class vessel, which are purpose-built spy ships, that CONFED Navy buys. As mentioned by Jessica in the last book. Aunt Gloria uses one. I guess you could say their tendrils run deep into the Intelligence community.

Thanks for the comment centexhairysub! Possibly abrupt but was heading that way. The twins and Marc are from different worlds. Marc is more galactic (I was going to use worldly, but on this scale...) than the twins. The thought of wearing armor and then seeing Marc with a weapon... totally out of the ordinary for them. For Marc it's like dressing for a date. Spooks... Hugo, Aunt Gloria, even Uncle Fran to an extent, are spooks. All very trustable people. LOL. And great to have around for information gathering. Confederation Intelligence... well... if it is them. We'll see in the future where this all leads.
