Thanks for the comment Cane23! As far as Caleb goes. I've found all kinds out in the world in my travels. Not sure I would call it malicious as I don't think he would try to harm Quinn. Rude as referring to Quinn's smaller stature. And Quinn. He, unfortunately, has been too long separated from his father and brother by the mother. That will become more apparent in future chapters.

I pulled myself up the ladder as Quinn reached over to help me. I shook my head no as I continued my climb with my twin tank set up, which was heavy. When I reached the top and stepped onto the deck, I looked over at Quinn. He wasn’t happy as I started popping the releases on my weight belt and other gear. I waited until Quinn came closer. “If I need help, I’ll call for it. Otherwise, please don’t help me the…” But he heard nothing beyond the first sentence as he walked away from me before

And for every idea there is a solution. Duct Tape! Removes unwanted hair and holds you in place at the same time! Two for one! I'm thinking it works🤣

🤣Thanks for the comment @ReaderPaul! Never actually added it to the story as I thought about it and couldn't figure out how to make it work. Isaac Asimov is good for ideas, as always, as is sticking my nose into NASA and ESA reports has proved interesting, if extremely dry reading. I could always cheat and have a special setting on gravbelts!? That would solve all my problems, with no need for any form of Sci-fi- fantasy/magic needed.... Hmmm... I'll have to think about it some more. Definitely raises it into the maybe category as I try to keep the story as close as possible to actual science capabilities.

Thanks for the comment ReaderPaul! No writing of diving manuals. Did write a few ISO 9002/9004 and 9014 policies and procedures for manufacturing. Once upon a time. As for Diving. From memory mostly. Surprisingly, I have trouble remembering names of streets, people, places, but if I have done it personally, I never forget how to do it. I can tell you how to get to anyplace or do anything I have previously done. But I'll have to look up the proper names for clarity.

Thanks, centexhairysub for the comment! How true. For the recreational divers, wreck and cave diving can be the most dangerous. But any mistake on a diver could kill you. Diving was a never end check and re-check of equipment and timings. Had a friend that did it all right and still got hit with the bends. Spent several hours in the chamber getting the Nitrogen out. He decided to stop diving after that. He was 47 when it happened. Figuring his body just can't do it anymore. He had over 1700 hours logged. Goes to show it can happen to anyone at any time. Regretfully, I stopped in '91 due to lack of water, time and funds. I see the pictures of the spots today, that I dived in back then. here in the US and out in the Australasia area. The difference is night and day. Gone are the amazing vibrant colors and fish populations. Very sad to see.

Thanks for the comment centexhairysub! Well. Marc has been taught all his life how to talk to people. As far as the Bennett family and the freighter Silas goes... Marc holds all the cards. Cutting them out does nothing to or for Marc but would cut them out of the trade in multiple sectors. There is always some freighter looking to fill a void. That said. Marc can drip much colder when needed. More on that in book 4. Well, more friends with benefits, not sure how Marc has time for them all. LOL Well. He's young. LOL😇
