  1. Grandmother is necessary but incidental. What stands out for me is the the brilliant writing as noted by Quixo. CW, you are truly a genius! SWG

  3. This story is a masterpiece in the making. In addition to having that kind of talent, your skill in writing sensual love and sex scenes is absolutely unparalleled. You write either or both combined like no other. I have never been exposed to anything quite like it! SWG

    "24 Hours"

I have been absent for a while and in that absence I have missed your lush writing. Good to be back! Nate is a very disturbed man and now it appears he is about to lay even more pain and suffering at the feet of those he loves the most. However, his exit may be what it takes to stop the damage and destruction, even desecration from continuing. Pity.

    "An Odd Job"

Ahh, there you go again, CW. The Master Wordsmith strikes again. Quoting from Brokeback Mountain by Annie Proulx, "I can't quit you," said Jack to Ennis.

    Chapter 3

So we're finally getting to the fun n games as promised. I'm pretty amazed at so many readers not being familiar with BDSM or feeling apprehensive about BDSM play. This activiy is extremely popular in the heterosexaul community and het participants naturally outnumber the gay ones. It appears that the author knows the "ropes" and that standard rules will be honored; Safe, Sane, and Consensual. If you are interested in discovering a new dimension of ecstacy, stay tuned... SWG

    Game Over

This saga made me think deeply about how we humans attempt to resolve situations. Questions that linger are (1) Is resolve always necessary? That is a big one. (2) Are the consequences of resolvement well-thought out and are actions well-chosen? (3) Did the therapist overreach in his comments by exacerbating an already bad situation ? There are questions behind these questions... Regardless this a masterfully written story evidenced by the preceding questions. It makes one THINK. Home run, CW!
  8. The lyrics to Love is a Many Splendored Thing captures part of what love is, but it is much more complex than that. It is multiply layered and works with and without what we might call normal emotions if such things exists at all. Whatever it is, love has a capacity to heal, and what could be better than a "healing fuck?" I am indebted to CW for this masterful work from which I have been so enriched. I regret that I have come to the conclusion. SWG

    "Palo Santo"

EROS, known as genuine love, is defined as "passionate love, longing, and sensual desire." In this chapter sensual desire, emphasis on the sensual, is front and center, raw lust if you will propelled by anger. Who knows what is behind the anger? Sex becomes a brutally selfish act. And yet, CW shows us that healing can occur even under such cruel circumstances. As Quixo and Sean have said, this was a difficult chapter to read just as our author has said, it was her/his most difficult story to tell. The irony is that some level of satisfaction, perhaps even fulfillment, is obtained by all parties in this tangled web. We are indebted to our author for taking us on this challenging journey. With gratitude, SWG
  10. I am a newby to Gay Authors but I am amazed that so few readers take the time to make comments on stories, even those of a very popular and prolific author such as Casual Wanderer. Perhaps it is the holiday season and people are busy? I began this story and then took a short break from it because I found Ch 2 unsettling. It was a perfectly reasonable thing to do but now I am back. CW is a master storyteller that draws the reader into her/his tales using exquisite language and form(s). The axiom that a writer should write what he/she knows, can come from real-life experiences or from one's imagination and of course a combination of the two, all of which are valid. CW's writing reflects the knowledge mandated by the edict of that axiom.
  11. Ground, floor; much ado about nothing. Proofreaders miss things, so?
  12. Just when things seem to becoming perfect...or perhaps we are embarking on the process of perfection.
