I liked The Long Way, but I loved this sequel. The character development, humor, pathos…. It was all there in spades, and it was terrific. I didn’t want it to end.
Another beautiful little story. I’m not ashamed to say that I cried a bit towards the end. As the author himself says, "Beautiful stories don’t have to be long. Some of the best are short tales."
What a beautiful short story. The author has a penchant for making his characters come to life. They’re fully developed, but without too much flowery descriptive language. I’m currently reading his full catalog on this site and encourage you to do the same.
