  1. First, I need to get a job. Maybe I can convince my mom to get me one for my birthday. And I totally agree with you on that. I believe that we can do great things. I hope to continue to get to know you quite well to.
  2. Yes, sweetie. I could have said you make me wanna coo at you and pinch your cheeks. *looks innocent*
  3. You're welcome. And the wonderful one above does pull up a point. It's one or the other, Zeph.
  4. I LOVE Pay It Foward. It made me cry to. The stories that you mentioned sound interesting. I'll check them out eventually. I know how you feel when it comes to writing something that makes you cry. I'm currently writing a one shot called 'Now I Lay Me Down' and it's making me cry because of the emotions and the fact that this is opening an old wound.
  5. Aww! Thank you! You're a sweetie to. Zephyrus it sounds like your body got used to coffee and now is unable to really derive anything from the coffee so your body rebels.
  6. I hope you feel better. I know how you feel. I decided to rearrange my room. Needless to say, me being an author, I have paper scattered around my room. I slipped and fell onto my side table. So now, my arm and side are bruised. I don't think I'm sleeping tonight! So, lets be sleepless together.
  7. Sassperilly! Sorry, sasperilla. I was raised on the stuff since I live in the west here. I haven't been able to find it very often, but if you take the back way from Flagstaff to Sedona, theres a small store that carries it in the original style bottles. Best around. Otherwise, Root beer, or anything diet.
  8. Hylas, you are a dear to have around. It sounds like you can barely tolerate regular coffee, but still enjoy it. Oxymoron to the extreme. I'm sorry about your grandmother's death to. One last thing. Any kind of alchoholic drink is something you need to get used to or be born into a family that is. I'm a mix of both personally. Rose <-----(who knows how it feels to lose their grandmother)
  9. First of all, I'm sorry your mother took it so hard when she found out. I hope things are fine now. And I remember hearing some old recordings of her. I was shocked by what I heard, though not really. A decade can really be hard on anyone.
  10. Same with me, and that's why it makes it's turning out to ready your story straight through. It's well written, from what I've seen, and is a well developed plot. I to lost a friend, and the details will be seen in the story that I'm writing right now. Since it is still in the budding stages, I'm not going into details. I'm sorry about your loses to.
  11. I wish you the best of luck and hope that you get better dear. I personally will be writing out a story based off of my friends journals. The friend that I talked about in previous posts. It's time to purge my demons.
  12. So, I started to read Tigers story, 'Second Chances' and already I'm ready to bust out in tears. It's because it deals with some touchy subjects, including suicide of a lover/friend. I'm not going into details quite yet, but it hits home with me in a lot of ways so far. So, Tiger, dear, wonderful story so far. I have started on another one shot and will be working with Gary and Jason to get it right and to get the feelings across correctly. Wish me luck.
  13. *snickers* Yeah, I've added him to my 'To Read' list. Right now, I'm off to read tiger. And I hope that you are able to get some rest tonight, Gary.
  14. So you have, so you have. I'm just going to clap my hands and then go back to my rather interesting can of diet Pespi. Yes, I'm bored. First of all, that's think dear. You were off a letter. Second of all, depends on the chai. Vanilla reminds me of vanilla and sandlewood incense burning at the same time. Spiced Chai reminds me of freshly grated nutmeg. Regular, yeah, it smells like novacaine but tastes better than that.
  15. were you able to get some sleep?
  16. Sometimes, vanilla is just what a person needs. And like you've read, cute avatar. I like it. Aren't they the cutest couple? *hugs them* I love cooing at them. Makes me want to write something sappy, and I don't really do sappy... Anyways, you will not. I base my characters off a mixture of my friends. Whiskey, one of my first characters are based off of Gypsy, her fiance, we'll call him Wolf-daddy, and one of my cousins. And any information I find out, I twist and change or take apart and use parts of. It makes my stories fuller and more real for the reader.
  17. The coffee and chocolate, I can says, yes! I knew it! The sex...I don't need to know about that unless you want me to use it to make my stories richer and more realistic.
  18. Well...you were worshipping the thought of coffee last time we talked, in between chatting about my story and you guy that is.
  19. I'm sorry for your personal pain. As to your question, if your point was to make someone sad or to get that sadness across, then yes, it is a good thing. Otherwise, it depends on the story and the person.
  20. I love green or chai teas the most and will drink that mostly. I also prefer it when it's loose leaf green tea, tastes better all around, even if it is expensive.
  21. You learn all sorts of things just by starting threads like this. I love hot chocolate to, but don't drink it all that often personally.
  22. That would actually be a good idea. I hope that works out for you. Until then, we'll write and bring those issues to the fore of peoples minds. It does, don't worry. I know what you mean, but I'm more likely to cry than just to hurt when it comes to hearing. I can only hope that I can bring a lot of issues to the fore with the story. Thank you for your time answering.
  23. *cackles* Yes! My job here is done. *cackles* *coughcough* Sorry. Anyways, that actually sounds yummy, really, really yummy.
  24. Just as the title asks. Have you ever read or heard something that made you either hurt or cry? Or both? I'm talking fictional, nonfictional and everything in between. Mostly, I'm doing this to gather information for my story, but also, I'm curious. Personally, I've read many things that made me hurt and cry, sometimes both at the same time. It's because sometimes, something just strikes ya, and you can't help it. So, tell me your thoughts. Feel free everyone.
  25. Let's just do this in one fell swoop shall we? WELCOME ALL NEW GA MEMBERS! POST, READ, WRITE, COMMENT AND BE HAPPY! We don't bite...much. Rose
