Denial is a state of mind. Like celebrating my 25th birthday for the 20th time.

Ch 38 & Brad: Way to mess up a naval career. If the Queen of England did not block Prince Harry's deployment to Afganistsn, who are you to block Darius (misguided ambitions or not). I've seen many army promotions blocked over trivial BS and I've seen them blocked over "rumors" of favoritism. No deployments into a combat zone over years? Yeah, that looks suspicious to promotion boards. Will: yes you are a hypocrite. lord Al: yeah we get you are not loaded with £££ but you couldn't spend a quid for a pack of extra strength condoms? Wade: Did you not expect drama? Where was your head at over the last few years? Darius: I've seen MANY good officers and enlisted get booted after the drawdowns in the 90's, let alone the drawdowns after your first enlistment term.

I can relate. What I wanted at 16 and almost went to college for vs reality --> Me @ 16 (1986): I wanted to work with computers and help others embrace the future! I was even TA in high school Intro to Computers. Probation Dept actually wanted me to go to Juvenile Hall and show the wards and Officers there how their "new" computer lab works. I didn't have a problem with that (parents did though). Me @ 23: God damn idiots and their inability to insert the floppy disc in the correct way, turn on the fuc@@n monitor, or figure out how the paper is inserted into the traction feed printer. learn how to type too. I does not take 30 minutes to type up a memo using WordStar and save it to disc. Marie Hobart: I can see her as a correspondent to CNN at about the time Darius is on his second tour in Afganistsn.

That's right. In paternity, Wade got ahold of his trust by having a Danfield. Perhaps something similar is in ME's trust? And since JP already mentioned the Grangers is rumored to be cash poor (in Flux) I am going to take it as 97.6% fact. Edit: I am trying to find this old Schwepps Commercial in which a British lord was complaining about selling off The 14th Duke, silverware and having to open up the family estate to common people but his one luxury was Schepps bottled water. And that is the image I get from modern day Bridgemont.

This is America. We do things the Jerry Springer way. They don't have to get married now. All Alex has to do, in order to be "proper" is to set aside the $$$/£££/€€€ in a trust account to cover "expenses" of pre-natal care and the like. If it's NOT his, the cash goes back to Alex.

My predictions: 1 dead horse (Mentioned horses) 2 napkins tossed (Will and JJ put their napkins down, close enough) 1 broken antique chair (missed) 3 crystal glasses broken (night is not over yet!) Top Shelf Moonshine for everyone. (Cabernet Wine? Seriously?) Thanks for the latest chapter Mark!

1) Yes, The Duke is an eligible bachelor. But if you are digging for Gold, you are going to find out too late that his family is cash poor. 2) Poor JJ. Did No One think to search his things? Yes it's a pocket knife but come on. If I got caught with drugs, not only would I be made to take piss tests but someone would be searching my stuff on a regular basis. 3) Cabernet Wine for Thanksgiving Turkey? Seriously? Moonshine would of been a better selection. 4) Darius sounds like one of those gun-ho military officers that I really hated. BTW: Hate to say but Most junior enlisted are NOT impressed.

In spite what Tim wants, Don't forget Tony. -
WTF is this? Everyone is opening up and try to be decent human beings to each other? This is unacceptable. Where is the knocking over of chairs? Where is the shouting match? Where is the drink being tossed into someone's face? And no this has nothing to do with counseling sessions that I've experienced.

Yeah but Troy didn't have Wally Hayes as a father nor did he have a cousin who is the grandson of a billionaire and the son of another billionaire. People would be watching Zach more then they did Troy. You also have to consider the fact QBs are less expendable then running backs. And there is also Troy got married (then divorced) and had two kids with her while raising a third. Do you see Zach doing that and seeing Will put up with that? I don't.

High School. What is "proof"? Proof is whatever my best friend's cousin's study parnter's boyfriend' brother's classmate in 3rd period Math two rows over said over lunch one day two years ago.

Sorry but you are not going to keep a secret by sleeping with 24 people. Lets ignore the "rumors" from De La Sal. What about the rumors re: Zach and Will at Don Bosco? And that was from Advisor Barry. Let's play the numbers game: My high school has ~2000 students. Roughly about 500 per grade. I graduated in 1987. I got publicly arrested at my high school in 1986. Very few people saw me doing the Perp Walk from the Office to the waiting squad car. So the only grades that could have seen me walk the halls at the high school after my arrest were grades 1986-1990. At the most 2500 students. Jump to 1989 I was recognized as That Guy at Ft Gordon. Jump to 1990 I was recognized twice in Germany. Jump to 1992 I was recognized at Ft Bliss. How is it I can be recognized in an Organization numbering 1.4 million active/reserve/national guard spanning the globe based on a one time incident? This is all before camera phones, Assbook, Twitter and quite frankly, before high adaption of computers in the home. (To be fair, it was reported on the local and national news for about a week and my last name is not Smith/Jones) Because Rumors in High School spread faster then Assbook ever could and takes longer to squash. TL;DR 1) People out there outside of the Family already know about Zach/Will. 2) If Private Tim's BFF Tony was able to figure it out, you can be sure others have already figured it out too.

Considering what I was doing in backwater SF Bay Area in 1986, yes I DO see some using advanced tech. And no, I don't see Zach using a cam. Some of His 24 "sponsors" on the other hand, yes I do.
-
I am sure Method was a total angel and this kind of conduct would of shocked him to the nearest confession booth Tim.
-
Unless some of those guys were the same age bracket as Zach...
-
I think Wally and Clara took the big news from Zach pretty well! Except I wonder how many of the 24 guys out there in Claremont are going to keep quiet if and when Zach makes it to the Pros? Lots of blackmail potential out there. And no "I was young and needed the work" is not going to work here. Thanks for the latest chapter Mark. Awesome writing as usual.

San Antonio Raiders. They can keep them... -
For all those who want a refresher, We first see him at the end of chapter 30/Book 1 of CAP.

Well of course Zach's "counselor" is a religious zealot. Zach himself is supposed to be a zealot so the "parents" got someone he's supposed to relate to. Nothing sinister about it.

Okay! I predict: 1 dead horse 2 napkins tossed 1 broken antique chair 3 crystal glasses broken Top Shelf Moonshine for everyone

Sunday dinner Predictions: 1) Nana is not amused with the bad manners of Marc so she schedules training lessons with the guy. 2) At least one napkin tossed onto the table. 3) Everyone has at least three glasses of wine. 4) Either Will or Brad/Marc will be asked to leave the dining room. 5) Zach/Will skips dessert for some unknown reason. Thanksgiving Dinner Predictions: 1) Wade/Matt has a fight over sex and the term HateF*** is used in a tasteful manner. 2) 2 napkins are tossed onto the table 3) 1 chair has been knocked over. 4) We skip the wine and just go straight to Vodka drinks for everyone except Marc. He has scotch because he's not as sophisticated. 5) Half the room is asked to leave while the other half leaves because they are pissed. 6) ACE is being judgmental yet again. 7) The Staff at Escorial just says FU to everyone and takes the food for themselves as they are tired of wasting all this food All...The... Time! And NO, nothing here is anything that I personally experienced.

Maybe he can die from malaria or Ebola. Or gets eaten/trampled by a wild animal. Or gets kidnapped by a rebel fighter in somebody's civil war. Or maybe he can actually redeem himself to humanity and show he's not a total jerk and will be like a decent human being that cares for others first.... Nah. Eaten by a crocodile on the Nile River after being tossed in by Rebels because he's spreading Malaria.

Hammer: HAHAHAHA! It took you this long to figure out it was Wade? Idiot. As for the other charges Hammer is facing, Meh.... Got no sympathy for people like him. Marc and Brad: This is the second time Brad mentioned he will not be able to get along with Marc if he didn't get along with his kids/family. I foresee Major Drama coming up in the next few chapters. Mark Arbour and Team: Thanks for the latest Chapter!
