> Who knew that a double ‘l’ in Spanish is pronounced like a ‘y’ < In 1965, my Spanish teacher taught us that "ll" pronounced like a ‘y’ is Mexican, and Spaniards pronounce it like "ly". Adam must had never read anything about pronouncing Spanish. If Spanish as a 2nd language was taught in his schools, it may have been in some of the grades that he skipped.

Thank you again for sharing. Maybe it's an Indianna thing. In other parts of the U.S.A., while a driver's license at age 16 is a rite of passage, not all boys are rich enough or come from rich enough families to afford the cost, the possible cost of training courses, and an additional motor vehicle in the household. In many states, having a 16 year old child at home with a driver's license will drastically increase a parent's motor vehicle insurance premiums. All of these are legitimate reasons to delay getting a child's license.

Thank you for sharing. If that suburban Unitarian church is the same sect as the Unitarian Universalist Association, it isn't Christian. As the name implies, they believe in a singular deity, not a Trinity that includes Christ.

I'm reminded of Randall Garrett's Lord D'arcy, who did not have any magical Talent. but did have the Talent "to go from an unwarranted assumption to a foregone conclusion, without covering the ground inbetween". Thanks for sharing.

On my railroad, the farmers get the phosphoric acid and the soda pop companies get Ferric Sulphate, also an acid. It must be a regional thing.

It has been replaced by ASSGM.net, which is also a Yahoo Group, ASSGM-list. http://groups.yahoo.com/group/assgm-list There is also a Yahoo Group ASSGM-dis, which talks about the stories. http://groups.yahoo.com/group/assgm-dis The replies I got to Message 212 in that Group (213 & 214) tell about some of the changes.

Is this the proper way to comment on a story when there doesn't seem to be a section for that particular author? My own opinion: I like the unrevised version of the Werewolf section of Part 1 of Reaper's Harvest's story "Underworld". It's more believable in its details.
