    Chapter 10

Wow! - that is kind of prophetic, DD, - a curious event might have some bearing on this though. 🖥️
  2. Palantir

    Chapter 32

So true! Could it be that Aglaron is more 'fooled' than 'fool'?
  3. Palantir

    Chapter 10

Michael? Poor? - We can't have that. I must admit to being rather surprised myself at how much Kieran has revealed in such short order.

    Chapter 10

Lol - The meeting is next chapter so that's your good news. It doesn't finish till the following chapter though, so let's hope it's eventful enough to offset the further wait. Hmm! - orcas are the world's top predator so that's an interesting thought. 😀
  5. WIDDERKIN VOE. Chapter 10. "Three days and they haven't found him? We need a more competent team." "I don't believe so, sir." This contradiction raised his boss’s eyebrows and Harris hastened to justify himself. "The team arrived in Central Australia the same day we activated them and very quickly established that the subject had flown to Melbourne to register for the next semester of study at a college in the south-east. The first available flight was the next morning a

    Chapter 9

Absolutely. Kieran has been playing a frantic catch up game with new challenges ever since he met Rhys and Mr B. It's about time he had a nice relaxing holiday. (Cough! Cough!)
  7. Palantir

    Chapter 9

Lots of reasons - but I'm not sure they had much say in the decision.🦈
  8. Palantir

    Chapter 9

Lol - I've heard of 'fluffers' but that's quite a different context. Me? Plot evil twists? I just report what happens.
  9. Palantir

    Chapter 9

You're right again - the 'bad guys' loom close. And just today I read an article that Australian dolphins have the highest levels in the world of 'forever chemicals' - Grrr!
  10. Palantir

    Chapter 8

    Aha! - we'll see.
  11. Palantir

    Chapter 8

Thank you!😀 Yes, Michael's heading into stacks of interesting things.
  12. WIDDERKIN VOE. Chapter 9. "Wake up, Kieran!" Kieran blinked at the five faces leaning so close. "What happened?" Five faces stared till Rhys laughed. "That’s our question. You held on to Michael while White Power covered you and made a bridge to the orcas. Then it all disappeared and you flaked out." "Did Tan go Oracle and start it all?" "Not this time, Kieran. I remember everything from the moment when you faced the orcas and held your Opal. You started t

    Chapter 16

Oh, so true. - and I'm afraid that they are now learning ways to subvert the power of free speech and education.

    Chapter 11

    Chapter 11

Wow! Very interesting. The first comment with queries about what might motivate Yirgella. As well as the fictional instances from Star Trek and 2002 there are the real world uses of AI by social media and military technology to consider. You've expressed it in a nutshell (what a curious saying) - 'We shall see what we shall see'.
  16. Palantir

    Chapter 9

And just how much they, 'realize and acknowledge', is still to be revealed.
  17. Palantir

    Chapter 5

You suspect right - and Jarra is indeed, 'remarkarble'.
  18. Palantir

    Chapter 4

I love hearing how people see Mirri. My author feedback reveals that he has touched the hearts of many readers. No, not the source, but what an interesting thought.
  19. Palantir

    Chapter 1

    GO! GO! and GO!
  20. Palantir

    Chapter 2

You are spot on with everything.

    Chapter 1

I have a great love of wild places and nature so they tend to feature in my stories. Yes, for over 60,000 years the story setting has been known as 'Mparntwe'. For just over 200 years it's also been known as 'Alice Springs'. I researched the pronunciation and listened to some Arrernte people say it, and marn-twee is very close. We do visit Monkey Mia and the Shark Bay area which featured in Attunga.

    Part 36.

Lol - the author side of me gets pleasure from the thought that the story could hold your attention enough to deprive you of sleep.
  23. Palantir

    Part 30.

Yes, the Tassie Devil situation is greatly improved. My town has a State sanctuary for Australian native animals and the recovery program for tassie devils has been a wonderful success. Every four or five weeks I see the show colony that is doing very well. There's a pic of one cooling off on a hot day in my albums gallery. The First Australian meaning I originally researched for Quambi is 'shelter' - which is close to that Google definition

    Part 28.

    They do love exploring!
  25. Palantir

    Part 25.

Yes! The rogue is quite a nemesis. Offense? Hmm! That would be a huge change, especially for the AIs, who have been neutral ever since their independent intelligence developed.
